Dr. James Harrison Cohen, MD

I saw DR. James Cohen at Metrohealth ER and he saved my life. Going to the ER is never fun, but I felt cared for and that I was in the best of hands with Dr. James Cohen. He was compassionate, professional, and quick on his feet to treat my medical emergency. Not only this, he also kept my family calm and was excellent with my children during this otherwise anxiety-inducing health scare, even giving them a few smiles! He even called my doctors to check up on me after I was transported to a different unit. What a great man,Thank you Dr. Cohen!!

Dr. Cohen is THE best Doc I've met! The guy is a very educated and humorous fellow who brought light to my visit and experience too. He has been doing it for nearly 3 decades( I believe is what he told me) and he knows how to do whatever needs to be done. Overall, avoid a visit to the ER.. but if you can't, make sure this is the guy you go to. Thanks Dr. Cohen and the Lakewood ER staff!!

THIS DOCTOR IS WONDERFUL!!!! HE TOOK HIS TIME AND ASKED QUESTIONS SO THAT HE COULD HELP ME, AND AFTER THE TEST CAME BACK THAT HE ORDERED FOR ME, HE WENT OVER THEM WITH ME, AND TOLD ME TO CONTACT MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR FOR A FOLLOW-UP. HE WAS WONDERFUL, AND HE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS IN VERY GOOD HANDS, AND MOST OF ALL HIS TREATMENT WORKED! THANK YOU AGAIN DR. COHEN.

I think he is the worst doctor ever, I spent 2 evenings in the ER for extreme abdominal pain. When the shift changed and he took over my case he read my chart and called my doctors before even seeing me. He told me I needed to call them on monday and he sat there while I cried and told me to never come to the ER for gynecological issues (which I didn't know it was) however he did so in a very condescending manner. When all I need is help and he is un phased and doesn't care, you shouldn't be a doctor anymore.
