I needed a subtalar fusion relating to a calcaneus fracture two years ago. The fracture wasn't handled right elsewhere, and I was having trouble finding the right person I could have confidence in to do the fusion. I am so glad I found Dr. Cottom. I am very active middle aged adult with adult onset flatfoot that had finally gotten to the point where I was not able walk without pain. Dr. Cottom came highly recommended to me by a friend who is in the medical field. I had an absolutely great experience from start to finish. Dr. Cottom scoped my ankle and gave me a stem cell injection. The entire process from the initial visit to post op visits could not be more professional. I have arthritis in my ankle and want to alleviate some pain I have when hiking. Dr. Cottom is very knowledgeable, professional and skilled in my opinion. They saw me on the same day I called because I had a painful toe. It turned out to be fractured, so I was very grateful he saw me that day. The staff was great too.
