HAD ABLATION SEVERAL YEARS BACK. DIDN'T WORK OUT VERY WELL. NEEDED TO HAVE OTHER ABLATIONS TO REMEDY HIS.

Dr. Cox in his arrogance failed to actually take the time to make a proper diagnosis. He had terrible bedside manner and made inappropriate comments; "if I can't fix you, and you die, at least I won't have to listen to you complain" was just one of them. He let his ego get the best of him and didn't bother to try to seek and underlying problem. Has he bothered to read the Countless echo cardio grams I was given he may have noticed my LVNC vs the long QT syndrome diagnosis I was given. I was prescribed inappropriate medication for my actual condition. Had it not been for a move out of state I'm pretty sure I would have died under his care (actually I did but was revived at UT hospital).

He was very rude to my elderly mom, almost laughing at her when her local doctor had told her she might be allergic to the blood pressure medicine. I left with my mom and we have Never been back.

I went in with chest pain/heart abnormalities and Dr. Cox was very attentive and helpful and knew exactly what was wrong. His staff was very nice and courteous throughout my long and difficult heart procedure and fixed it perfectly! I thought I would have to get a pacemaker because the procedure was so difficult, but he was able to fix the problem completely! My parents even said he was so excited and pumped up after the surgery! I owe a great deal of gratitude to Dr. Cox and his staff for getting me back to my life.

He sometimes runs a little late but is worth waiting for.He explains things very well.Good bedside manner.Excellent staff.Highly recommend.

We felt pressured by him to agree to a cardiac cath and stent placement even if he found what he described as a "non-critical" stenosis. He made us feel uncomfortable. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
