Dr. James Mcguire Cunningham, MD

Dr. Cunningham, made a horrible situation even worse. We had a loved one in the critical care unit at MCCG. Dr. Cunningham, treated us with no care or respect. My father was an annesthesiologist at MCCG for 30+ years and would have never spoke to family members the way Dr. Cunningham spoke to us! He would not answer any of our questions and when he did he was rude and disrespectful. No doctor should ever feel they have the right to speak to anyone the way he spoke to us. Growing up in a Medical Family I understand how Doctors can become immune to a patients suffering and the families concerns, but they should try to be as sensitive as possible. This man showed no compation, no sensitivity at all! . If he ends up as the attending doctor for your loved one MCCG I strongly suggest you request another.
