Dr. James David Dalton, MD

The visit with Dr.Dalton was wonderful and encouraging. I left the South Carolina Medicine feeling more than satisfied. I was so appreciative that the clinic worked me in. The doctor and his physician, Lamar Hood took the time to explain and review the X-rays and MRI . They also did an Ultrasound of my extremity. I am grateful for the steroid injection ; which hopefully will provide relief.

I had rotator cuff surgery done on my left shoulder in October by Dr. Dalton he did a fantastic job my shoulder is movable and more useable now before I could not move it with out pain now a have very little pain and I am working on getting my shoulder back to normal Dr. Dalton’s staff and nurses were and are wonderful I recommend Dr. Dalton and his team if you are in need of rotator cuff surgery good job Doc.

Dr. Dalton is everything you would want in an Orthopedist. Skill, bedside manner…You won’t find any better

In may of 2021 doctor dalton did my shoulder reversal which turned out to be a total disaster I still have just as much pain as before no difference still can’t use my arm still can’t sleep cause of the pain all the time surgery and therapy did not help thousands of dollars waisted. I told him I wanted to see a different surgeon their was no attempt on his part to direct me on were to go I had by to find out for my self his nurse would not return my phone calls when I complained constantly about how awful the pain was. This doctor and office is the most uncaring and unprofessional health care provider that I have ever seen I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night.

Had shoulder reversal not happy 13 weeks later in still as much pain as before surgery pretty much little to no pain med given doctor does not return phone calls. Pain much more than ever was explained to me.

I can't thank the doctors, PA's, nurses and staff at SC Sports Medicine enough. Dr Hulvey and his team diagnosed my problems, Dr Wartinbee and his team corrected carpal tunnel in both hands and Dr Dalton & his team corrected a torn rotator cuff. Highly recommend this entire team.
