Dr. James Patrick Devney, DO

I can say I am now blind in my left eye after a spinal steroid injection for a work injury. I had bleeding in both eyes. Suffered a detached retina, some eye surgeries followed. Lost sight in my left eye. This will probably be filtered out like the numerous other poor reviews. Would not recommend.

My dad visited today and had nothing but good things to say! He’s been having neck and shoulder pain for weeks. Dr. Devney found the solution and my dad is already feeling better! He would recommend to anyone is struggling to find a solution for nagging aches and pains!

I have been going to Dr. Devney for pain management for over 15 years. Dr. Devney understands an athlete's mindset and works with them to get them back doing what they love.

I've been seeing Dr Devney for several years and I have found him to be very knowledgeable about spine issues and very generous with his time to explain things clearly. We have methodically covered several pathways to resolve my back pin issues and he has been nothing short of exemplary at each step of the process. I have recommended Dr. Deveny to several friends and would highly recommend him to anyone!

What a blessing! I twisted the wrong way and experienced the worst pain I've ever had in my back and leg. I literally could not walk, stand or sit; the pain was a 10 on the scale. I saw Dr Devney and he had me get an MRI which indicated a herniated disc (L5 which he predicted at my first visit)) On a follow up visit, he gave me an epidural (steroid) which provided immediate relief. Afterwards, the following week, I still had some discomfort and Dr. Devney gave me another shot. That provided immediate relief. NO pain...He explained exactly what was going on and the long term prognosis. Incredibly knowledgable!!! With this said, I am not writing this review because he enabled me to have basic functions, I am writing because he is such a caring and compassionate doctor who is so gifted and full of energy and optimism. He cares and it shows. He is a role model for not only doctors but for anyone. Every staff member was very professional and always helpful and caring. I cannot put… into words how much they care and how encouraging they made me feel.... I was desperate. Thank you !!!
