Dr. James Allen Dicke, MD

Dr Dicke has been my endocrinologist for Type 1 diabetes + thyroid + parathyroid for countless years When I lived 5 hours from him & tried other endos, I found him to be well worth the commute every 3 months, as required by Medicare for insulin pump users It is not possible to overrate his abilities, knowledge, caring, understanding, responsiveness I believe you will be very happy if you choose him for your endo.

Dr Dicke offers the BEST endocrine care because of his devotion to serving his patients. With always up to date knowledge of the treatment and management options available he is an excellent listener and teacher. He is continually involved in research of medicines and technology and skills to help his patients understand and manage the diagnosis better . He is a perfect country gentleman and truly makes a positive influence helping his patients manage their health condition. He is not only my doctor but my friend. His staff is top notch in taking care of business with accuracy and personal attention. Office visits with Dr. Dicke have changed my life for the better as I've learned and understood more clearly what I can and should do.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dicke Since 2004. His diagnosis for my thyroid problem right on the mark. Dr. Dicke is so caring and shows so much interest and empathy for me. Takes time with me as a patient not rushing me out of his office. I have recently recommended a friend who is not satisfied with her present doctor.

This wonderful Dr. always makes time for you and truly cares about his patients. When I asked why he called me in off hours with my test results, he replied "I needed to talk with you about your test results without interruption and wanted you to be able to ask any questions without feeling rushed. I wish all doctors could be like Dr. Dicke. Being referred to him was one of the luckiest things health wise that has happened to me. He is a great doctor and I strongly feel that being his patient has added years to my life. He is also extremely kind and caring. I always feel that he has my best interests at heart.

Physician is knowlegable and aware of current medical findings. This gives him excellent diagonosing skills, which he freely utilizes with his pts. He is kind with a wonderful bedside manner. He will take the time to explain a medical issue, and help the pt to understand and be comfortable with the diagnoses. Every dr. should be like Dr. Dicke.

Dr. Dicke is a great endocrinilogist. Some of his staff, however, leave a lot to be desired. No one ever returns a phone call and the lack of an email address as an alternative is an equal pain.
