Dr. James Gerard Donahue, MD

I’ve been to other fertility clinics, Indiana Fertility Clinic to be exact and was belittled and looked over . That wasn’t the case with Dr. Donahue he made me feel like he truly had one goal and that was to get me pregnant lol He listened to me and had a game plan so I can have a successful IUI he just doesn’t understand how much it meant to me to feel heard when it comes to my infertility. Today was just to consult but I truly can’t wait to finish this journey with him as my dr even if it doesn’t work out and I don’t get pregnant he still showed me RESPECT!!!

Unprofessional and greedy place.

Dr. Donahue was always kind and patient with us. Answered all our questions, gave us hope, yet never promised anything outrageous. He explained the risks and potential outcomes well. Back in 2016, some staff members were rude. Current staff very pleasant and very helpful.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Donahue and his staff! They are a very busy office and do not have time to coddle individuals, seek other therapy services if your emotionally not strong enough. Did I have tears, yes, yes I did, many. But the office is not to blame. Be prepared at the appointments if you have questions., they provide all the information. Obviously it can be overwhelming, so take notes if you need.

Very bad experience i regret going there and expending my money for something very elementary.

I love the care and concern that Dr. Donahue and his staff shows me. They take their time explaining my medical concerns and procedures. So far I've had wonderful experiences with everyone.

After 6 years with other doctors who would not listen to us about what we believed to be causing my infertility, my husband and I job transferred and fortunately came across Dr. Donahue. Dr. Donahue was the first doctor in our journey to actually listen to us. What we thought was the issue was the actual issue, as determined by the birth of our son after ONE cycle with Dr. Donahue (I realize he had the notes from the previous doctors but it was a simple fix he would have accounted for from the get go). Definitely would recommend.

I am writing this review in hopes of helping other woman in their struggle to pick a better doctor. My husband and I's experience with doctor was horrifying. Dr. Donahue himself is very friendly IF you ever see him. In my 12-13 appointments I saw Donahue twice. First time was our consultation and the second time was my second IUI. Donahue's office staff is HORRIFIC. They are nothing but rude and condescending and make you feel like you are nothing but a burden on their day. As if being infertile isn't enough and know our emotions are like a roller coaster isn't enough, try going in to the office for your very first IUI and your nurse is like talking to a brick wall. I am a nurse myself and I could not imagine talking to patients the way his office staff did. Save yourself, your time, your money, your emotions and heart break and DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

So far, my husband and I have been very impressed with Dr. Donahue and his nurses. He has given us hope and been very personable with us. He even gave us his cell phone number in case we have an emergency. He and his nurses have taken ample time to explain everything to us in depth and never talked down to us. Good luck to all of you who are pursuing fertility treatment.
