Dr. James E Dopson, MD

Dr. Dopson will judge you. He will impose his thoughts especially on your age. I also believe if he can hinder more/another pregnancy he does. It been happening for years.

I have bben a patient of Dr Dopson since 1991. Dr Dopson delivered both of my children and has been such a blessing to me, because I know when I have a office visit I'm going to get the care and attention that I need.

Condescending, unethical, bad bed side manners,

I have been going to this practice for over 20 years! They are always professional and helpful! Dr. Dopson and his staff are the best!

I have never in my life been so disrespected by a person, especially a Healthcare "professional". this man judged me immediately. he did not know why I was there although his staff just administered a pregnancy test minutes earlier and informed me to undress and wait for him to come in the room to give me a paps smear. I had to inform him that I was waiting to be given a paps smear. he then commented on my hat that said Savannah State University, which I went to for a year three years ago, and I told him I now go to a different school. he then asked me the age of the father of my child, not knowing what for, I told him he was 29 and he responded "what is a 22 year old doing with a 29 yr old?" I just sat there awkwardly naked from the waist down wondering what that had to do with my paps smear or the health of my babies, because I'm having twins. as the examination went on, he made several unprofessional comments about my tattoos and the fact that I have nipples piercings. as he was… leaving he called me a 14 year old child because it was my first paps smear exam and I wasn't familiar with the procedure. When we met in his office minutes later, he began preaching and quoting Bible scripture at me saying that God disapproved with my tattoos, calling me a spiritually lost young person, and saying that he has seen a lot of girls "like me" from Savannah State because it's a party school and that's why I was in the position I was in, meaning young and pregnant. My mom, who was with me the whole time, was so appalled she started recording the conversation. I then told him that I would not like to continue to work with him and that I will be finding another doctor. He then began slamming his hand on the desk saying " you be quiet now!" even to the point where his staff burst into the room to make sure everything was okay. he told her to get out and this is when I decided to get up and leave. this was one of the worst experience of my life. I left the office pyschically shaking and crying uncontrollably because I couldn't belive the treatment. I will be reporting him to the medical board and pursuing action to be taken against him so that no other woman has to go through anything like that.

Made very rude comments attacked my personal character, comdescending attitude,cut me off while I expressed concerns said things like duuhh etc did not care about my concerns and walked out of room saying bye!

Very personable made me feel very welcome and he knows what he is doing I had to switch doctors at 31 weeks and I've been happy ever since I stepped in this place he will be delivering my baby girl my first child.

Dr. Dopson is the BEST........hands down!!!!! He takes great care of all of his patients and he treats each of them as family.

The best Doctor I have ever been treated by.

One time was enough!! Physician was unprofessional & made inappropriate remarks. Immediately called referral svcs to request another physician. Would not let him deliver my baby!!
