Find another Doctor! I had to have a total knee revision after letting this person replace my knee.

Had to schedule a visit with a GP in order to get a referral for this specialist as they don't accept new patients without one. Got an XRay taken and they said they couldn't see anything so had to schedule a visit for a CT scan. After CT scan, had to schedule a followup visit that lasted literally 2 minutes and they didn't go over the results, only said someone in Colorado Springs would need to review to see if it's operable. The CS place called and said they couldn't schedule a visit until they get sent the CT and XRay images. Called the CT place and went through their phone system to finally get them to fax to the CS place. Called Dr. Duffy's office and said I'd need to pick up a physical CD of Xrays in person after filling out a release form. Four doctor's visits and over a thousand dollars spent and I have no new information, and have to jump through even more hoops just to talk to a doctor who actually (hopefully) knows whats going on. And then when I talk to him, there's a really… possibility I'll get told "nothing can be done" and I'll get turned away (after coughing up more dough). Basically a Kafka novel. With however much they bill insurance, can't they provide the simple service of sending the patient file during referral?

Saw him twice. Was NOT impressed. Spent maybe 5 min with me then he was out the door both times. Acted like I was wasting HIS time. He never came,back into the room. He Looked at X rays. NO exam done. Then he said there was nothing he could do. Yah right. He didn't want to waste his time with me. I went back to my family practice Dr the same day and HE spent more time with me and helped me, unlike Duffy. Another Dr was in disbelief that Duffy said he couldn't help me cause he IS an ortho. But, with HIS attitude, not sure I'd even want him working on me. Pass thanks. Office staff was okay though.

If you want a Dr. who will do a poor job and not think twice about it then Duffy is your man .

Dr. Duffey and Marianne are amazing. I had right hip replacement five years prior to this left hip being replaced by Dr. Duffey. So, having something to compare was quite enlightening. Dr. Duffey’s procedure was so much better than the first surgery I had, and the follow up appointments answered all my concerns. This surgery I only had one precaution, with the other I had multiple precautions which were time consuming and took me much longer to recoup. With Dr.Duffey, the incision was much smaller and healed nicely with no complications. I would recommend Dr. Duffey and Marianne to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. I will be needing knee replacement in the foreseeable future and there is no one else I would trust to operate other than Dr. Duffey. My only regret is he doesn’t do back surgery!

I don’t know what the heck is going on with this physician or his office… I have called multiple times to schedule an appointment and I am I have to leave a voicemail. My phone calls are never returned. I’ve called five times in the past two weeks and left three voicemails and still no return phone call. Extremely disappointed with this place. I am tired of being in so much pain and the person I am supposed to look to you for help isn’t reachable…

Not good. He is not qualified on hip replacements He never sees patient. Never explains what happened what’s going on

I've had Dr. J. Duffey perform a full repair of my patellar tendon on one knee and a scope repair on another. After rehab I was back to the weights and was able to incline press up to 1,100 pounds. He has treated my daughter's knee with great success. I'm now seeing him for potential sholder repair. Dr. Duffey is very personable and takes his time to answer all questions and explain the issue, the repair plan or surgery, and the rehab. He has a great "bed-side" manner. He has great follow up as well. I would not see anyone else.

Dr James Duffy did my knee replacement surgery. If surgeries can be good it was the best one I ever had! Felt great when I came out of anesthesia, Dr Duffy saw me shortly after surgery. And then again later that night. I saw him first thing in the morning, and he was there at 9:30 pm at night to do rounds. The whole time I spent in hospital, 3 days.. Amazing Doctor, one of the Best and compassionate I have ever had. Thank you Dr Duffy.. I would highly recommend this Doctor.
