About Dr. James B. DuHamel, DDS
Dr. DuHamel graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1973 with honors. He has over 25 yrs. experience in functional orthodontics, temporalmandibular joint therapies and 15 years experience in oral sleep appliances. He currently has a general dentistry practice in Valley Springs, California and a practice limited to Dental Sleep Medicine in Lodi, California.
In 1995, Dr. DuHamel and Dr. Hart worked together in developing the first prototypes for the Oral Positive Air Pressure (OPAP) therapies for Sleep Apnea. Dr. DuHamel has also used Oral Myology in his practice since 1994 to treat dysfunctional swallow patterns for his Orthodontic, Sleep Apnea and TMJ patients.
Dr. DuHamel is board certified in dental sleep medicine with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
