Dr. James Warren Elliott

Dr. Elliott is wonderful! I have been a patient of his for 16 years. He listens well. If he doesn't know the answers he will look them up quickly or refer you to someone who does. One of the best things about him is that he isn't afraid to admit when he doesn't know and always willing to learn more to help his patients. I trust him. When both of my daughters were born prematurely I wasn't worried about taking them to see him as well, knowing that he was willing to learn right along with me and when one of them needed to specialist it was done quickly. He will tell stories sometimes but that always comforts me and makes him personable. My kids think he is great and so do I.

Dr. Elliott is a teaching Doctor as well as a Family doctor. I find him to be caring and he does do the best he can to help you get the care you need if not by him but who is best to do what you need. And helps to get the appointment set up for you or gives you all the information you need. He is always followed around by students learning their skills through him. He does share somethings going on in his life but I think that is to relax you so you are not nervous. I feel like I am growing old with him and that is ok. He has a lot of knowledge that can only be gotten by years of serving his patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Elliott. He is my primary care physician. His background in wrestling and coaching and teaching is evident in his medical practice. He's cheers on my good health decisions, and shows me the path to continued improvement. Thank God for Dr. Elliott.

Excellent at explaining symptoms and suggested treatment.

He did not pay attention to my issues, he did not read a detailed written document I prepared to try to aid him in treating me, and his attitude is elitist (and my IQ outstrips his by orders of magnitude) and smug. If I were on a medical board, I'd vote to sanction or remove him.
