Dr. James Brant Ellis, MD

Dr. Ellis gave my mother morphine against my wishes as POA and I have filed a complaint against him with the Texas Medical Board. He was an awful doctor who yelled at me in front of my sick mother. I hope he never practices medicine ever again. He should be deprived of his license for what he made me go through. My mother was shut down with this does of morphine and died the next day. She was gone to me the minute she was given morphine, AGAINST MY WISHES. I will never forget what he did to my mother and what I went through, he should be punished! Never trust him, the other doctors on the floor agreed with me afterwards but it was too late. Unforgivable!

He came into mom's room at the Methodist and pretty much said there is nothing that can be done for your mother and asked to give her morphine, I said i am not ready for that, he stormed out the room and yelled, I'm giving her morphine" and then had the security guard come in to try to remove me. I am the power of attorney and he did it against my consent. I am writing to have his licensed revoked. I don't want him to put other families through what I went through, it was awful. My other is now in a comatose state. I did not want that for her.

my dr. since 1985 love him he is SMART, EXACT, KIND AND I FEEL SAFE WITH HIM BEING MY DR. IN PTHER WORDS HE IS GREAT!
