His surgical scheduling staff a retired old hag that doesn't wanna do her job and a doctor that has to many patients to care about anyone but his own pocket his office brags 33k patients for one dr he's a hack don't go it's a a waist of your time to end up with a different doctor cause he won't have time for you

Quickly scheduled my needle biopsies in less than a week to be sure. My father died from prostate cancer so I was a wreck until I got a for sure answer, then I accepted it and went on with my treatments.

After learning that a close friend had been diagnosed with kidney cancer, and knowing that we both had been exposed to asbestos in our work environment, I decided to have an ultrasound done. A mass was discovered not in my kidneys, but in my urinary bladder. I was referred to Dr. James Fellows at that point. After additional tests confirmed the mass in the bladder, Dr. Fellows scheduled surgery. Before going into surgery, I asked lots of questions, all of which he answered thoroughly. I researched bladder cancer before going in also. I learned that many of the things I had been exposed to as a child and young adult had been linked to bladder cancer, at the top of the list was second hand cigarette smoke. Upon waking up from my surgery, my wife's first words were that it was cancer. I was told that they had caught it early and my prognosis was very good. The past two years has been filled with many trips to Dr. Fellows' office for cystoscopies, immunotherapy treatments,… PDA lab results, and updates in my urothelial bladder cancer treatment plan. Yes, I have sat in his waiting area many times over the past two years. Most of the time the wait is long and the room is full of patients. Bottom line is that I am very fortunate that this cancer was caught early. I am also very blessed that God has intervened once again in my life. Dr. Fellows, since day one, has been an urologist that listened to each question I asked, answered them as a friend would have, and offered advice on where we needed to go in my treatment plan. He is an outstanding doctor is his field, a man that has a huge heart, a Christian, and a gentleman that works unbelievable hours in a field of medicine that has a shortage of doctors. I highly recommend Dr. James Fellows.

Operated on both my father and brother-in-law for kidney stones. Unnecessary visits to his office. Zero sense of urgency ond forget about compassion. My elderly father was put through several unnecessary and unsuccessful surgeries. He never fully recovered from his surgeries 2 years ago and had urinary and incontinence problems up until the day he passed away a few weeks ago. Kidney stones are tortuous as it is but Dr. Fellows’ lack of knowledge, compassion and professionalism make it that much more horrific for my father and he was tough as nails. I will NEVER recommend this doctor.

Different provider every visit. Cancelled appointments. Running out of medication due to appt being moved. Appointments being rescheduled and I was never notified.

Myhusband was treated by this man 10 years. He treated him for an infection & enlarged prostate. When his PSA went to 42 & this so called doctor sent his nurse prac. in the room to inform us she would use apples if that doesn't work she'll use oranges and if that doesn't work she'll use bananas. I told my husband we need a real doctor... Two months later we are at Vanderbilt Hospital he's having a bone scan. My husband has prostate cancer & it is in the bone THANKS TO JAMES FELLOWS MD.

Dr. Fellows may be a competent Urologist, although, as a Caring Physician I would rate him an D. As for providing a Patient with information during a serious situation again he is lacking, I rate him an F. If you are seeking a Urologist that is more than just competent but one who is caring, communicates and involves the patient in the decisions then I recommend you choose someone else

Unprofessional over booked constantly usually 1 to 2 hours behind on appointment times

Very poor Doctor. Has way to many patients to care for each patients.. did in-reparable damage to my insides.
