Dr. James Michael Felton, MD

Dr. Felton has been our primary care doctor for over 40 years. He is precise, prompt, and has exemplary diagnostic skills. He gets right to the issue, treats it aggressively, and wants nothing but the best of care for his patients. He has been a tremendous role model to my son, who chose to follow in his footsteps. I am very fortunate to have the trust and confidence in an excellent health care provider.

I've been going to Dr. Felton for about 6 years now, and even after moving clear to Lima, i'm still willing to drive to Tiffin for his services. He will not sugar up his information for you, and while he can be rude, it's only because he wants you to take him seriously, which you should, because this guy knows his stuff. Also just a great guy to talk to.

Rarely comes up with his own diagnosis. Orders unnecessary tests due to inability to diagnosis. Thinks he knows whats wrong with you before you tell him. Always wants you to go to a specialist.

I would not be alive to see my grandchildren if it were not for Dr. Felton. At least three times he has saved my life and it is not an exaggeration to say that. He is very straight forward, gets right to the point and if you refuse to follow his direction, he will tell you you need to find another doctor. He runs a tight ship and it would be rare for you to have to wait more than ten minutes to be taken to an examination room and perhaps another five minute wait there. He has a wonderful 5 star staff. As best as I can remember, I have been a patient of his for over 25 years.
