I would trust mine, my family & friends life to have this Dr. I had colorectal Cancer & 1 year later was told by my then Dr that the cancer was back & they must have missed cancer cells that was just distal to the surgical site. The Dr said I would have to have a total resection of my rectum & would have to live with a colostomy the rest of my life. Before I would let him do surgery I got a 2nd opinion from Dr Fleshman & decided to have my Surgery from him & im so glad. 5 yrs later no cancer & no colostomy. He’s a wonderful Dr & a careing Christian. I asked him before surgery if he would say a prayer for me & he said certainly. Great Dr.

This is said to be a world expert. He was mean, condescending, and unwilling to include me in any treatment plan before trying to pawn me off onto some other doctor. I traveled 5 hours from West Texas for nothing

I waited months for an appointment. The doctor had no bedside manner and tried pushing me off to a lady doctor in his office that he claimed was an expert. She was a jerk with even less of a bedside manner and no clue. Back where I started but with another firm. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere

I was a patient in St . Louis and I'm looking to make an appointment with him in Texas. He is an amazing surgeon and I trust no other that is why after 6 years of other doctors not being able to figure out what is wrong with me I need him. I cried when he left MO. I'm tired of being sick all of the time and i know he can lead me to his team of doctor's and figure out my issues. He is #1.

Dr. Fleshman is the "ultimate" physician/surgeon in every sense of the word. Warm caring demeanor, awesome listener, exudes calmness, removes anxiety that communicates his extensive knowledge and great successes. There's none better.

Jim is an amazing surgeon!! A true genius & medical marvel in my opinion! He gave me my life back & i will always be thankful to him for that!! I wish he was still in MO!! My situation was & is a very difficult one & i had to have the best & that is what i got with Jim!! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!! If anything ever happens to me, i will have to go to Texas for Jim to take care of me , because i know that he will give me the very best care that he & his staff can provide. he is very blunt, but dont let that scare you, he is a compassionate man, he just want's the best for you & he tells you like it is. i really grew to love this doc & cried when he told me he was moving to Texas!! He EXCELLENT!!

Spouse just had third clear pet scan, no cancer seen, no appt. for 6 more months. Truly believe the surgery that Dr. Fleshman performed saved my spouses life. Will always be truly grateful.

Dr. Fleshman saved my life. Because of his surgical skills I am living a full and happy life. He has been caring for me since he was a Fellow at Wash U. and now he is the department head, that speaks for itself. I have referred numerous friends to him and they all agree that he is top notch.

Beyond the best doc ratings this man is a genius, right here in St Louis. Why risk your life on any medical plan of treatment against cancer when you can have a sheer genius figuring it all out and fighting for and with you. Think about it.
