Dr. James Austin Fosnaugh, MD

I've gone to Dr. Fosnaugh for years. He has always been pleasant, professional and very caring! He's incredibly knowledgeable. I would recommend his services to anyone!

My husband was a patient of Dr. Fosnaugh's for over 20 years. We mistakenly let a $118 bill go to collections as my husband was going through radiation cancer treatments at that time. They canceled his appointment that he made a year earlier and told us Dr. Fosnaugh had told them to drop my husband as a patient because of this mistake. We had paid the bill immediately when we realized our error. So if you forget or can't pay your medical bills Dr. Fosnaugh does not care about his patients just cares about the money. Pretty sad and disgusting.

He is the worse Dr. I have ever met. He doesn't listen to his patients.

Do NOT waste your time, just find a different doctor. Not only was he extremely agressive and stuck up, he refused to allow me to utilize my benefits. I lost my voice and my elderly mother called back on my behalf, and he had the audacity to literally yell at her over the phone. F**k this guy. He's an awful doctor and an awful person.

Often times Dr. Fosnaugh is reluctant to utilize community resources available to patients and families within their health benefits. Unfortunately, this mentality also delays care during critical times. When he does finally allow patient to fully utilize their benefits, he is difficult to work with and often times writes snarky remarks on his orders. He apparently thinks he knows best but does get in the way a lot of times for access to care.

I have seen Dr. Fosnaugh for over 15 years. I am 54 year old and in good health. None the less, I am glad to have him provide my primary care. He and his staff are very responsive and thoughtful.

I don't know what doctor the two other reviews went to but it doesn't sound anything like my experience. He's awful don't waste your time or money going to him. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. He thinks that your symptoms are all in your head. Doesn't want to listen to you. Spends the entire appointment talking about himself. He doesn't know anything. Also, don't go to him if you care anything about your personal information. They weren't careful before and Dr, Fosnaugh compromised even more personal information just lately.

Would recommend to anyone. Very caring person.

IF you are lucky enough to be accepted into Dr. Fosnaugh's practice, you will quickly realize that Dr. Fosnaugh is a brilliant man who cares about each and every patient. His nurse practitioner, Mary Gobber, is an outstanding, caring lady, who also has knowledge of herbs and vitamins, which is very impressive to me. I should add in that the tech, Jeanette, is the BEST tech I have ever had draw blood. Receptionists are very nice as well! WOW...I the lucky and very happy lady to have been accepted into this practice...where I KNOW they are "looking out for me." In my opinion, this office is the BEST in Lincoln, Nebraska. (By the way, I never wait at this office.)
