Dr. James E Froelich III, DO

Dr. Froelich is an excellent family doctor who cares about his patients. The staff is wonderful also. Wait times are minimal and costs are low. In Bonham, your best choice for family doctor is Dr. Froelich.

Saw him for about nine years. He got worse and worse about everything such as days late on getting my prescription refilled, running very late with his client's appointments. The last time took two hours. Of course I was a little irritated and told him about it. His solution was to fire me, as his client, even though I was going to quit going there and he knew that, because I told him so. This guy doesn't care what his client's thinks or how he treats them. Over the years, his place became dysfunctional. He even lied about refilling one of my medications. Even his nurses didn't have the time of day to give me a courteous call, regarding my refills. Once for some reason, I was having severe rang-of-motion in my left shoulder. He took my arm and quickly moves it all over the place without caution. It was very painful. He once did the same to my 70 year old mother with one of her joints and she quit seeing him too. He might be an 'Okay" Dr. to see for some things, but he is definitely not… a great Dr. in many ways or how he runs the place. If someone is upset, he should treat that person for that problem and not fire them. That's his sick mentality. He knew I had problems with getting upset easily and knew I had anxiety problems, because he was treating me for them. He didn't want to deal with me anymore, because his next excuse was for me to see a psychiatrist and not him. He knew I didn't have the money for that, but he doesn't care, and many don't. This is why some people have to rely on street drugs and alcohol - sad.

I wouldn't go to any other doctor now unless it's a specialist that he refers. He sits down with you and explains everything so that I can understand - even if he has to draw it out for me to understand.

I drive 50 miles from Richardson past 100 other doctors to see Dr. Froelich. He has a holistic approach and tries to give his patients the lowest cost option available for what ails them. His staff is also very friendly and good at navigating the insurance system to make sure you are covered. It is very hard to find a good doctor who isn't just trying to run up your bill now days. Dr. Froelich is a rare breed and an excellent physician!
