Dr. James Francis Gaden, DO

My family and I have been patients of Dr Gaden's since he came to Kendall. He has been a wonderful and patient doctor. We are always able to get appointments when needed. When we have been in the emergency room or to a specialist, he has always called to follow up and make sure we understood what was happening. we have never been pressured or hurried during our visits. He listens to us! he isn't typing or writing in the chart when he is in the room. Very lucky to have him

I was a patient of dr. Gadens for Ten years. He was always good new me well and I was happy with his care. About 4 years ago I injured myself resulting in major surgery. Unfortunately the surgery failed and I have been in severe pain since. Dr. Gaden was managing my pain with medication. I never abused it, asked for new script every 4 months no big deal. One day he said "he no-longer writes those kinds of meds. He was lying! He sent me to a pain dr who treated me as a junkie! I would call gaden once a week pleading with him to help me. He said there was nothing hd could do. Now tell me this if you were in severe pain how would you feel to be blew off and treated like a junkie? I have never been so offended in my life. This dr does not care about his patients! This dr neglects patients needs. This dr is allowing patients to suffer because he feels like it. So disgusted with him think it's time he retires because he is either burnt out or losing it. Now let's talk about… his secretary and nurse. All I have to say is RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!!! If you want a dr who cares will treat your medical needs appropriately and whose office you are not scared to go into then dr James gaden is not the dr for you! Dr gaden you are a disgrace to the medical field!!

I was a patient of dr gaden for 2 years. He prescdibed me all kinds of medications and one day out of the blue refused to give them to me and told me he couldnt treat me anymore! I asked him what the problem was and he said that i have too many medical issues amd he thinks it would be best for me to find a new doctor!! I was very offended and hurt by his words! He neglected me amd abandoned me as a patient and because of his negligence i suffered terribly for over 4 months until i finally found a kind caring compassionate doctor who is more than happy to treat for my many unfortanate medical issues! My overall rating for dr gaden is a big fat zero! Dr gaden if you didnt want to treat people with medical issues (regardless of how many they have) then i guess you shouldnt have become a doctor because thats what you went to school foramd thats what you get paid for! You should be ashamed of yourself as doctor of philosophy and a human being you absolutely disgust me!!

I've been to many doctors in this area and have been very disappointed with them. Then Dr. Gaden came to town and what a ray of sunshine! He is a real human being and Caring individual!! I've been going through some trying times and he has been right there for me. He calls me with test results and when I have problems. I feel real fortunate to be a patient of his. Thank you Dr. G.!

I just love Dr. Gaden. He is my whole families doctor and has done nothing but good for all of us. He doesnt push unnessary pills on you or tests. He is down to earth and gets to the point in a polite kind manner!

I do not see this doctor, but my grandparents do. He told my grandmother it is ok to smoke every "once in a while" (She has a heart condition and 5 stints). He told my granfather to drive himself to the hospital- HE HAD GANGREENE IN HIS BURST APPENDIX!!!! And, the "doctor" told him to drive himself again to the hospital when his oxygen levels where so low (he has COPD) he almost passed out at the hospital!

Dr. Gaden is terrific! When I need him, he is there! He listens intently, he doesn't leave any stone unturned yet he doesn't demand a lot of unnecessary testing. He has a very good grasp of medical conditions. He also treats me like a valueable human being. He surrounds himself with a very competant, friendly office staff and supporting specialist. I am very lucky to have him as my GP.
