Dr. James Garber

Took me 2 1/2 hours to get to his office. He did not even see me He was looking at his lap top. He sent a young lady in to see me .I did not like being seen by her. My insurance paid to an appoiment for a Dr. She was wrong on all her opinions. I have 3 hernias. Now I have to find another Dr. that will show me enough respect to see me.

He took such good care of my 27 year old daughter with severe pancreatitis ?? Over a 9 week stay at memorial. Dr Garner , has an awesome bedside manner. He takes into consideration of your views and feelings on things. Dr is a good listener as well. Always willing to answer any questions as well. Wasn’t rushing out the door. He cares for his patients for sure?? Couldn’t have had a better doctor.

Wonderful doctor with great expertise in his field. Has been practicing for several years and explained everything to me in detail and answered all my question prior to a life changing surgery.

Dr. Garber is absolutely a doctor's doctor! He is smart, conscientious, confident and careful, taking to time to consider quality of life outcomes in deciding surgical options. To patient & family he is empathetic, respectful, and willing to review complex information more than once. Absolutely did outstanding work on my seriously sick husband when he sustained complications from chemotherapy. Dr. Garber was a brilliant choice for us.

I went to see him twice he was a doctor who did part of my surgery without my knowledge until after wards. Eighteen months later I went to see him about being in pain both times he sat there and laughed this last time he tried to push me off on a pain management doctor instead of getting to find out what happen at the surgery to cause this horribble pain. Never asked me if I was in pain now, never examined me but I did hear him tell a nurse I'm not taking the blame for this.
