Dr. Garnett is fellowship-trained in the management of difficult voice and swallowing disorders. He has a comprehensive team-approach to the evaluation and treatment of hoarseness, vocal disturbances for the professional voice user, paralysis of the vocal cords, neurologic dysfunction of the voice and swallow, tumors and nodules of the voice box and general swallowing dysfunction. Dr. Garnett provides the only transnasal esophogoscopy, videostroboscopic and acoustical analysis laboratory services in the region.

Great experience from scheduling, check in, being roomed, Dr. Garnett is wonderful, his nurse has been extremely helpful with questions and phone call!

Dr. Garnett is one of the most amazing physicians I have ever met. I was suffering from a persistent sore throat with a frequent need to clear my throat that was very annoying. I had been diagnosed with Hashimotos, a Thyroid disorder, but everyone assumed there was nothing to be concerned about and that my symptoms were not abnormal. Dr. Garnett insisted I have a Biopsy of my thyroid nodules even though the CT Scan showed no malignancy. The biopsy revealed a small malignant tumor that was only 7 millimeters. I had surgery to remove the Thyroid, and because my tumor was very small and encapsulated, I did not require radiation therapy. It was the best possible outcome! I attribute this to the thoughtful, skillful, kind and aggressive treatment that Dr. Garnett employs. He always takes time to listen carefully to your concerns and is never condescending. His staff is also excellent! I would highly recommend this physician to anyone needing the services of an Otolaryngologist.

I am very grateful for you & your staff, if it were not for you I would have ended up having a trech tube put in & not known there was something else that could've been done. You helped me with my breathing problem & gave me some answers that I have been seeking for many years. All of the doctors that I had seen in the past would just give me medicine for post nasal drip. Now that I know what is really wrong & how to go about preventing it from getting that bad it takes a very large burden off of me. Thank you so much!
