Dr. James Michael Garrity, DO

Front Desk Princess or whatever her name is messed up two acts for my old dad. He can barely get around. They don't get times or labs right and I have had to return so many unwanted times. The Doc is happy and has good intentions, but you can't convince an old guy set in his ways to quit drinking and all of a sudden start a Mediterranean diet. Phone call appointment conflicted with voice mail apt confirmations. Very upsetting when its had to move a frail old guy around.

He's a whack job, the ghetto hood RAT answering the phones needs to go work at a collection agency and they totally missed a serious injury I am recovering from 3 years later.

Fell off a ladder at work. No xray or scan ordered! Hurt like !!! the next day, no follow up available. Had to go to Harrison Hospital, their MD ordered xrays & found a fracture, i got a cast and prescribed pain meds for 3-5 days. Recovered pretty good after that. Garrity seems like a real quack.

Brought my sister's kid in for a laceration. Not a great job at sewing it up - very ugly scar. It got infected and had a heck of a time healing. Got prescribed an antibiotic he was allergic to and he got sick. I got tired of hearing excuses from the doctor/clinic so I took the kid to Harrison. Had better care there.

My husband and I can't express how happy we are to have come acrros Dr. James M.T. Garrity in Silverdale, WA. He actually "listened" to the patient and treated him with "care and respect" and actually "took to time" to get to the "root of the problem". His beside manner was EXCELLENT and we dont' find this kind of doctor anywhere in this day and age. My husband and I, as patients, have found that the bigger medical facilities treat us like "just a number" only spending a few minutes with us in the exam room, tell us to "take 2 aspirin and call us in the morning" type of care ... but NOT Dr. Garrity. He actually treated us like human beings, treating us with respect and actually listened, heard and understood what my husbands pain was and where it may be stemming from. We left Dr. Garrity with a more of a sense of security, and just plain happiness that "somebody" actually took the time to help us. We cannot say enough GREAT things about Dr. garrity as well as his staff at Central… Kitsap Urgent Care. They were all very professional from the front desk receptionist to the medical assistant who did the initial screening before Dr. Garrity came in. All in all they were the most friendly, helpful staff we have ever met and will recommend them to all of our friends and family.

Unfortunately, Dr. Garrity is not a primary care doctor, because he was very thourough, good bedside manner and effecient when I saw in the urgent care. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing immediate medical attention. He takes a complete medical history, listens to patient concerns and orders appropriate diagnostic tests. He gives clear instructions to patients on follow-up care.

Dr. Garrity is one of the best in his field of practice and leaves nothing unsolved. He is thorough, concerned, and will go the extra mile to ensure he treats your needs and help you to recovery. He is the Best!SSFormer Patient
