Dr. James Gibbions, MD

Wrong medication prescribed. Email and two phone calls placed to correct matter have gone unanswered.

So disappointed in this practice and doctor. Almost two hours wait ended with me having to leave. I came back and begged to see a doctor because I was feeling so poorly. The doctor's answer was that if I wanted to be seen by a doctor, go to the emergency room. Not what you want to hear from your Primary Care doctor.

After waiting more than 1.5 hours, I had to leave to go to another appointment. When I came back, the doctor said he would stay the extra few minutes to see me even though I was feeling awful. His recommendation is that if I wanted to see a doctor I should go to the emergency room... Not what you want to hear from your primary care doctor. So disappointed.

Dr. Gibbions has been my primary care physician since I was in my early 20s and I would never dream of seeing anyone else. He listens, takes his time, and I feel as though he genuinely cares about me and my well being. He never makes me feel silly when I go in there with a diagnosis ready to read HIM! He listens, then proceeds to tell me to stay off of webMD, lol! Even when I am feeling super lousy, I always leave his office with a giant smile. I love Dr. Gibbions - doctors like him are so very few and far between!

Dr Gibbeons is top notch, caring and informed. the staff does not phone in prescriptions, gets nasty and rude, does not give the Dr messages, constantly looses paperwork and blood results and quotes "office policy" that changes daily and rarely makes sense for the situation.

Dr. Gibbons excellent down to earth, kind and considerate, has excellent bedside manner will throughly discuss issues and spends whatever tune is needed. The staff is not customer friendly. I've been patient of Dr. Monks for years, and since the practice has changed so has the customer service.

dr gibbions is one of the best... very understanding, takes time with me during visit andhas been very supportive during difficult times.... i consider him to be a friend and value his professionalism.

Today is the last straw with the staff. No less that six times have they failed to renew my meds with Medco (perscription fullfillment service) in the last three years. They even accused me of lying when I left messages about renewing medicine. Said I never left one! This time it has been 12 days and still no call to renew my meds. Three days with a migraine and no help from them. If you need medication better get some from local source because you can be sure they will screw up the call in.

I had an infection. He rushed me. Didn't clean the infection; Gave me antibiotics; Had to go to other doctor to heal my wound, and heal, and so the new doctor can finish the job.

Dr. Gibbions is one of those rare doctors who actually listen when you talk. He really cares about his patients and he's good at diagnosis and treatment. I've been with him for over 10 years and have no plans of changing. And the staff in his office are great too. Friendly and caring. Not thrilled with their new billing system though. And I hate having to call him to get the results of a physical. I feel he should call you when he gets the results because when you call him, you have to leave a message and wait for a call back anyway. But the aggravation is worth it. Dr. James Gibbions is fantastic.
