Dr Gibson was my PCP for more than ten years. Although he was capable of treating my issues that were pretty much under control (spine issues) as well as anything to do with the common cold or flu & vaccinations - when I had something out of the ordinary, he literally sat there like a deer in the headlights saying, 'I don't know, I just don't know' as well as, 'I can refer you to a specialist but he won't do anything more than I've already done.' These are direct quotes and when you've been really sick for months and he didn't refer me to any specialists, I really started to believe I would die (and would have if I hadn't gone to U of M), If you don't need to be treated outside of the regular check up, vaccinations & colds, he's fine. If you have something undiagnosed, I would definitely stay as far away from this guy as possible. He really believes that if he doesn't know the answer, no one does and doesn't even refer his patients out without a fuss (maybe he's has an ego issue).… It is easy to make an appointment when you're sick, no wonder.

Dr. Gibson has been entrusted with my medical care for over 15 years. His Professional Standard for practicing Medicine is Superior. He stays Current with Medical Advances and shares his knowledge while Providing Superior Care. Likewise he stays on top of Modern trends to deliver hassle free ways of getting test results (pt. portal) or responding to your medical needs even if your contagious and can't be seen in the offce (telemedicine), and to top that off He has Great Office Personnel... I have had Dr. James A. Gibson for over 15 years. I lost my husband in 2009 who was also Dr. Gibson's patient. I could never have asked for a better doctor, ever. He has helped me in so many ways, with all my illnesses and has always made great judgement. He has always followed up with me and to this day in the year of 2016 I can still count on him for appointments and care. In my opinion he always listens and shows concern, he is a 5 star doctor! Many times over and still! Thank you Dr. Gibson for all you do!

Amazing doc, very satisfied. Something tells me the complainer here is a just another unhappy fat girl, looking for someone to blame for her poor decisions.

Short wait time for scheduled appts. Doctor is well connected for referrals to specialists and he is prompt and personal in giving follow up to tests. He listens to pt concerns and prioritizes healthcare needs. I am glad I found someone who can coordinate all of my health care needs. Detractors: No lunch evening or weekend appts that would allow working persons to make doctor appts without having to take a vacation day.
