Dr. James Brian Gill, MD

I was very happy with Dr Gill. He was up front about what I was looking at and showed us on the compute. what the problem was. Surgery as pretty east. Glad I drove from Sioux City to Omaha for care.

Dr. Gill had zero compassion or even much interest in my issue or at least that is how he came across to me. Unfortunately I have certain issues that pointed to one diagnosis and he made his conclusions based on those without investigating further even after I pointed things out on the imaging. I went for PT for weeks for his diagnosis without much improvement until I finally went to a chiropractor who immediately honed in on to the correct problem, the same one I had pointed out to Dr. Gill with my layman knowledge and which he promptly dismissed. So while I was not misdiagnosed, my pain came from something very different that he should have at least investigated a bit further. The only good thing I’d add is that while some doctors would want to operate right away, he was honest in telling me that I was not a candidate for surgery at this point and would not be happy with the results.

Dr. Gill is wonderful. Very straightforward and professional. Polite and very understanding. His clinic coordinator, Paula, is amazing as well. She made me feel like I have known them my whole life. Would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Dr. Gill is a great Orthopedic Surgeon. I’m so thankful that my Dr. recommended me seeing him. I will certainly recommend him to others needing a Spine Specialist. I’m so thankful that both Dr. Gill and Paula both come to Grand Island.

Everyone was courteous and willing to help me. Dr. Gill was polite and listened to me and had X-rays and found my problem. Dr. Gil explained my options and started with an MRI. To get more details. Waiting to hear back. Happy with my visit

Dr. Gill was up front and honest with me about my spine and explained he did not see a reason for my back/leg pain on my past scans. I would have liked more digging into what could be wrong but like I said he was honest and upfront.

Everything happened on time and was as thorough as needed. Came away with a clear plan.
