Dr. James Justin Goad

My father saw him through the ER due to an emergency hernia repair. Dr. Goad was very polite, compaction and patience with us. He answered all our questions that we had regarding the procedure and recovery. I am thankfull that my dad had him as his surgeon.

Certainly I was not expected to have an infection of my gallbladder but Dr. Goad explained to me about the disease the treatment and he proceed to do the surgery. He has been an excellent physician and very dedicated caring, intelligent and very personal explaining in full detail not only to me but to my wife in the postop. The surgery went really well and a postop was fantastic. His office as well is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Goad

I had been putting off having surgery for a hernia for well over a decade. Never could find a surgeon that was both competent and relatable. Dr. Goad is amazing. The moment I met him, I felt like I was in the hands of a true expert who was also down-to-earth.

Dr. Goad was referred to me by my GI and I think he is excellent. On my initial visit he listened carefully to me and explained my procedure and answered my questions. He also explained everything to me and my husband on the morning of surgery. His PA, Mindy, is outstanding. She spent a good amount of time with me during my stay in the hospital the next day to discuss the procedure (she was also in the OR) and answer all my questions. The office staff was pleasant and efficient.

I asked a few members in the medical community who they would prefer to handle a family member’s surgery. Dr. James Goad was highly recommended by two people I respect. His office accommodated a quick appointment given my condition. Dr. Goad was very careful explain the Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery procedure. He took all the time necessary to answer all my questions prior to surgery. As soon as I awoke from the procedure, I recognized my back pain, gas and bloating were gone. In fact, I felt so much better the night of the surgery that I did not want to go to sleep. Dr. Goad’s staff were available for a quick call back on a post-operative concern that turned out to be normal. Five days after surgery, my recovery has progressed perfectly. Dr. Goad and his staff took exceptional care of me prior to and post-surgery.
