Dr. James Michael Goldring, MD

Called about my referral that was sent over 2 months ago. Staff said it was being reviewed. Called a month later and it was denied stating the doctors couldn’t help me with headaches and some balances issues which his the whole point of a neurologist. Never received a call about i being denied. A heads up would have been nice.

Made me wait 3 weeks having his staff say my paperwork is on his desk, only to call me and say there’s nothing he can do to help me. All I wanted was basic knowledge on what my MRI meant. It’s comical actually

Dr. Goldring Gave me an exam, ask many questions, listened carefully about my situation. I feel confident with his care.

he is rude. doesn't take time to read patients chart either before or while in room with patient and family. take to long to inform patient of test results. ignores families concern of test results. acts superior to patient and family. would not recommend his as a doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Goldring for 24 years and really can't complain. I started when news of Imitrex was coming out as a new drug for migraines and my neurologist at the time was evasive about whether he'd prescribe it and said I'd have to take it in his office the first few times to be observed! Ridiculous! I called Dr. Goldring's office and asked if he would prescribing Imitrex when it came out and was told he would. It has really saved my life. (I also take another drug to help prevent migraines, prescribed by Dr. Goldring.)

Was dismissive of my life long Migraines. Offered no treatments that was not already offered by my family physician. Overly expensive

Dr. Goldring was easy to get in to see. He arrived on time and did a thorough exam. He was kind and took the time to sit down, talk and answer my questions. He was professional and called me himself with my results. I would go back to him!

Extremely rude & didn’t listen to my problems or concerns.

I Walked in with many symptoms to discuss after being referred by my pcp and I walked in, he saw my hand shaking and shut me up immediately and said I have an essential tremor and didn’t want to hear anything I had to say or any other symptoms. Wrote a prescription and left. AWFUL. The meds didn’t work because that’s not what I have! Also, they billed the wrong insurance instead of the card I gave them that they copied and 4 mo later sent me a $360 bill saying it’s going to collections (which they can’t do at that point)! I paid it and then it took me 6 months and 48 phone calls to get them to actually bill my insurance and I still haven’t been refunded what they owe me! Don’t to here

First off he is a Washington University educated Dr., which is well known as the "Ivy League of the Midwest". They do not entertain fools or graduate any incompetent doctors. I saw him to eliminate a suspicion of M.S. He did several tests and said I didn't need to worry about M.S. No, he didn't hold my hand while I pulled out a laundry basket of symptoms. He didn't need to! He has an impeccable University education and incredible experience. I found him pleasant and thorough. I find it amazing these reviews are the same doctor I saw.
