Dr. James B Grimes, MD

Dr. Grimes is Brilliant!! He did both my orthoscopic knee surgeries two weeks apart. I had no pain after the surgeries and I needed little to no recovery time, I felt great! I wish he was my surgeon for my other issues. If I could I would give him 1000 Stars!!!

today we were in the office of dr James b Grimes ... a very bad experience on the part of the receptionists .. to begin with they are Hispanic and do not want to speak Spanish my dad went to his appointment an older person who does not know how to speak English for the same reason I had an interpreter for a certain friend of the secretariat or nurse ... is she a nurse or whatever is done by the name Nidia turned to my dad screaming in an arrogant and angry way I ask him things and my dad answered he is an older person he asked again screaming and I told him that that was no way to address the patients she said that it is her way of speaking and my dad was very upset and I do not wait to see the doctor since this is his people who will be the ... his white person handler was there and he did nothing about it if he published it here is so that the doctor is more selective in his way of having his workers and that he does not happen again since most people go by the elderly and the… interpreter She didn't say anything, just shut up because she was his friend until I took her a gift

I had a single portal arthroscopy. The surgery was fully explained to me but the results were better than expected. I have had no issues since.

I was so Impressed with Dr. Grimes I went into his office with a severe hip problem another doctor told me I had bursitis and I did not have bursitis I had bone on bone he did hip surgery and I was in an out and walking the next day he’s a great doctor I would recommend him to anyone

I was referred to Dr Grimes through the Veterans Choice program. This office postponed seeing me for more than a month. And they wouldn't provide the care I needed (hyanaluric acid injections in my knees) on the first visit; they insisted on examining me and making me come back later for the injections, even though the injections were pre-approved. Delaying my care for another month just so they could bill for more visits.

Dr Grimes performed arthroscopic knee surgery using a one port of entry arthroscope. It was so much less painful than the same knee surgery I had on the other knee. The other knee surgery was performed by a different doctor using a two ports of entry arthroscope. The one with Dr Grimes was minimally painful, much quicker recovery. I recommend Dr Grimes.

For me making a decision to see a physician is something I don't take lightly. I have had a number of surgeries over the years, I was in need of a physician in the area where we live. Everyone was telling me to go to the L.A. area but to me as well as my wife that wss out of the question because that was way to far. I had asked a number of golfing buddies and telling them that I was having trouble with my hip. I had told them that i had used 2 physicians in the past for other issues. Then I heard of DR. GRIMES and come to find out he is located in the same building with my previous physicians. Made an appointment with Dr.Grimes took awhile to get in but when I did I knew I made the right choice. He took his time to explain that I would need a total hip replacement and the procedure. I was admitted to hospital shortly after the authorization the procedure only took a few hours a few hours after the surgery they had me up walking pain free. I was there for a few days and released. … The surgery was better than expected recovery was fast and I know without a doubt I was lucky to have him as my physician. Living pain free again is a great feeling and thanks to Dr. Grimes i will be back enjoying golf very soon.

I had a "Single Portal Arthroscopy" due to a torn Meniscus and severe pain. After the procedure I was pain free within 3 days and back to work within a week. Dr. Grimes is just the Best! His office staff is wonderful and his asst. Heide is a God sent.

Dr. Grimes is an excellent surgeon and a great doctor. The surgical results are minimal scarring, quick healing and good final result. As a doctor he is always ready to answer questions and give good clear explanations that a layman can understand. I have other problems that are not in his specialty, but I wish he were the one to deal with them.

single portal Arthroscopy was performed on both of my knees. excellent results. healed faster than the 3 portal surgery done on both knees in 2002 &2024. Very happy with felling normal in 6 weeks. old surgery took almost 1 year to be able to go down on my knee.
