Very Professional and he treats me as if I were family.

Finally a Doctor a doctor who got it right. He worked with me and Iam a lot better now !!! Thanks

I'm concerned this doctor spent my appointment talking about his life and not mine. Seemed to want to do lots of unnecessary tests and give me medicines I don't feel I need. Also wants to be paid upfront and make me submit to my insurance.

He tends to talk over you, usually with personal problems or new girlfriend. Does wrong test, not needed. Tell your family he's sure it's all in your head. Shows up to the office not knowing he had patients waiting. Too addled brained.for me...

Talkative, joking. Tells personal life. Promises a course of treatment then takes a left turn and treats you for something else. Big disappointment.

As a new patient, bounced between many doctors unaware of my condition, dr gross was able to identify and treat my condition within three weeks. He understood exactly what tests needed to be done, which made me feel at most ease because I have spent thousands with other facilities to come back with nothing. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

I have been a patient of Dr. G's for 35yrs! He saved my life back in '96' when I showed up in the ER with severe abdominal pain, I asked them to call dr. G & once they did I was immediately taken to surgery for a ruptured appendex!! That incidently was misdiagnosed the previous day!! That unfortunately was not the end of that nightmare, I came back to the ER with the same symptoms so he admitted me once more. He told me I was very sick, he had a CT scan & my problem was a pocket of peritonitis sitting deep in pelvic area. The surgeons he recommended did their jobs & Dr. G was with me the entire time. The doctor in him wants to heal his patients but the man in him keeps him grounded and free from having a 'god complex' like so often so many doctors seem to suffer from. I can go on & on there are so many stories I could tell you, but if you remember one thing I write remember this; Dr.Gross is a wonderful person & an amazingly intelligent physician, not only is he my primary doctor, my… gastro specialist but he's also my close friend! And he's incredibly funny, I can and do laugh through my entire appt even when I feel like sh.., I stand behind him & my words!!

Not only does he know what he is doing but he has a great sense of humor, something you don't usually find in a physician, I also think of him as my friend, not just my doctor.

First, Dr. Gross has only one office. Second, he is NOT affiliated with any hospital. He talks more about his personal life Waited almost an hour as he was not in the office. Not sure he understood why I was there... seemed spaced.. I tried several times to explain my symptoms and he continued to interrupt me only to ask me questions that I had just answered. He has had new staff each of my three appointments. I do not think I will see him again... real lack of professionalism.

Dr. Gross is an excelent doctor and I would recomend him to others with need an excellent Internest or Gatroenterologist. Not only is he kind and very attentive when he is in the office with me, but he is very understanding and accurate about my diagnosis. He gives excellent treatment in the office and outside as well prescribing medicine that treats my illnesses. His office staff are the most attentive and kindest people ive seen in a doctors office. They made me feel very comfortable waiting for the short period of time I had too and work with scheduling me for follow-up. I would deffinatly recomend Doctor James Gross and stand by my evaluation of him.
