Excellent clinical and surgical skills. Very low rate of infection.

Proposed unneccesary surgery.

I just had a total hip replacement from Dr. Hartford. For such a major surgery, he and his staff could not have made this experience any better than they did. He and his staff are the most professional, friendly and organized office I have ever been to. From the moment that I scheduled the surgery, his office scheduled all of my PT appointments for me, follow up visits, etc. He does a presentation for his patients on every detail of the procedure, before and after care, and answers any questions you have. There is nothing left to the imagination of what to expect. He has a warm and open bedside manner, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had a double knee replacement with Dr. Hartford. The presurgery education was first rate, the surgery was very successful and recovery and post care follow up was all that could be expected. The staff were friendly and professional and I knew what to expect.I have recommended this physician to several firends who are also now his patients.
