This is the foremost the most beautiful, clean environment my family & I have came too. I could stay with no hesitation that I found my family doctor. This office bends over backwards for you! They are very efficient and with this being said the wait time for me was 20 minutes because I’m a New Patient with paperwork to fill out and unfortunately I didn’t do my part by arriving 20 minutes early as staff informed me several times before my appointment. Now, others were coming in and not even having a seat of how efficient they are. Busy practice, might look empty but, don’t let that fool you. Please don’t except the moon on your visit first, now I know for a fact I missed up in the past expecting the moon but, it comes in stages of your visits. So please be patient when it’s your first time. Love, love, this office.

Office manager is extremely rude

I called to ask if I can make an appointment so I can get a referral letter to be seen with a specialist and they told me they’d call back “soon”. After an hour of waiting I decided to drive to the clinic in Apple valley to ask if I could make that appointment. I was told by the “office manager” that the doctor said he wasn’t going to refer me to a specialist because the specialist didn’t deal with my kind of injury even though the specialist’s website says is specifically does. I tried to explain that but I was cut off and was told “It doesn’t matter what the website says, the doctor said no. Besides you called a couple minutes ago” like no lady I waited over an hour for a call back and never got it. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this type of behavior from her either.

So far this is the best doctor I have met and PA. My entire family of 6 could not be any happier with him. He is so caring and actually makes the time to hear you and referral you to speacialist with a 2 day approval. Love, love ?? the staff. Sweet girls, super busy office, they do a lot for the doctors so respectfully I feel the tension sometimes but, if it wasn’t for these girls the doctors would be a mess. They are who make this office run. Be patient with staff!!! What I mean by this is I notice when I’m there, patients can be demanding and I mean demanding to no respect. A person can tolerate so much until a breaking point. These girls hold there composure and respectfully state I will be ending this call because I don’t have to tolerate how your speaking to me. That’s to nice!!! I would reply your a POS, find a different office, and hung up. Awesome, awesome staff. I would finally like to close by stating they have never ever been rude to me ever. They treat me like… family. When I need something it’s done on a timely manner not a demanding manner. I never ever have waited 2-3 hours to be seen this is a joke and straight out lie. They problem weren’t happy about something. My normal wait time for the past three years have been between 15-25 minutes. Be trueful when writing a comment about someone or someplace. Come down your stream first, before commenting. Don’t be a jerk.

If you don’t mind waiting for 2 hours to 2.5 hours then go to Dr. Hartleroad. Staff book patients appt with 1 doctor all with 15 minutes and also double booking multiple patients therefore the wait is longer. N Ed to hire additional PA or doctor to assist.

He and his staff were very friendly and helped me greatly with my asthma symptoms. I would recommend Dr. Hartleroad

While doing research on area doctors in order to select a Health Plan and Doctor, I ran across Dr. Hartleroad's name. While it listed Apple Valley, Ca with an office address in the HCO Program, when I looked him up online, it did not list an Apple Valley office at all. Therefor, I called the phone number for the Apple Valley office to make sure I was looking at the right doctor's information. I have several issues with that one phone call, which has made my decision to not choose this doctor through no fault of his own. First, the phone was answered in a hugely unprofessional manner, with just an annoyed "Hello". I had to ask if I had reached Dr. Hartlroad's office, to which the receptionist/front officer person became even more abrupt, clipped and rude. I explained that I was just trying to make sure this doctor had an office in Apple Valley since it wasn't listed when I looked him up, as it was with other doctors I had looked up prior to him. Very rudely, this woman on the phone… said, "Well, he has a lot of practices and places where he does heart surgery." This response could not have been said in a more impatient tone. I just said, "Ok, thank you. Have a good day." Unfortunately, I will not sign up with this doctor, based on that experience alone. I don't let anyone talk to me or treat me with that kind of disrespect and patronization.
