Dr. James Matthew Haug, MD

This “Doctor” is arrogant and ignorant. Learning that he is a Psychiatrist has been especially bothersome, as the way he interacted with me was callous, uninformed, and antagonistic. The notes he wrote in my medical record, based off a 4 minute phone call where he got more and more irritable with me, calling me contentious (I had no idea who he was, why he was calling me, and more confused when he continued referring to my chart, even though he told me multiple times that he had nothing to do with my healthcare), and arrogant. The notes he wrote in my medical record giving his medical opinion on my thought process and state of mind were absolutely arrogant and ignorant, especially since he knows nothing about the 14 year battle that has led to my current health and mental state. All he seemed concerned with was getting his point across, without any single bit of compassion or empathy. This man is in the wrong field.
