Dr. James Head, MD

I’ve had 3 appointments with him after my hip replacement in October.. He never bothered to show up. I had swelling in affected leg and was told to come in to office and have an ultrasound to check for a blood clot. No doctor and no ultrasound after traveling 250 miles round trip from Dumas to Conway. I think I should have been compensated for the drive up there. I had to go back to Little Rock after that and my doctor there did the ultrasound and found the blood clot behind my knee. I did see his nurse on each visit but she isn’t the doctor. His staff was very nice.

I could say thank you every day to Doctor Head and for the rest of my life and it still would not be enough.following a extremely bad 4wheeler accident he stuck by me for a year so I could keep my leg and foot. There is none better than this Doctor!!!

Not a good experience with this dr. He did not help me with my foot problem and no follow up

First you have to make several ph calls to try to get an appt. Good luck with that. Then be prepared to wait as long as an hour to get to exam rm. Then you get to treated by a very arrogant cocky jerk with NO bedside manner whatsoever. Dr Head did a great job on my carpel tunnel surgery. Ill give him that one. Problem is he decided he Would take my stitches out after 1 wk.Got to home to find my incision WIDE OPEN and bleeding. No answer @ office. No emergency #. A nurse finally called back 3 DAYS LATER. Noone has reeturned a single call since. Office is very poorly run and totally inefficient. RUN dont walk from this hellhole.
