Dr Heaps was always the best doctor. Always answered questions, never rushed. He always made you feel important. He didn't do my hysterectomy, but did my follow up appointments every 3 months then 4 months then 6 months. I felt reassured always. I was devastated when he retired. Then hearing the horrible accusations against him. I find it difficult to even believe this. I wish him all the best.

I saw Dr. Heaps for a few years before his retirement. His diligence and care kept me cancer-free and calm during a stressful time. He was always professional and never made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I’m saddened and surprised to hear the accusations and hope it will be resolved soon.

I was Dr. Heap’s patient for over 25 years. He is a wonderful doctor. He was always respectful and professional. He always took time to explain things and would return calls and emails to answer questions. He was so thorough and knowledgeable. It is such a loss that he is no longer able to practice and I hope that he is cleared of the current charges.

I am writing this review in light of all of the accusations against this wonderful doctor. I went to him for many years and referred him to my sister and my daughter. We all agree he is one of the best doctors we have ever had the good fortune to have in our lives. He was always respectful and thorough and generously gave of his time. Everyone I know who has had him as their doctor feels the same about him. How sad that many women will lose their lives because he isn't practicing. What a terrible shame.

It was a miracle for me to find Dr. Heaps who treated me after I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in May 2013. I saw Dr Heaps while looking for a 2nd opinion on hysterectomy surgery. After consulting with him, I knew for sure that I chose the right doctor, and I continued to see him until he retired. His compassion, patience, and professional behavior eased my fear of going through the cancer treatment. He was very patient and spent time thoroughly answering all of my questions even though he was very busy (his office was always packed with patients). He made me feel very comfortable, safe, and trusting throughout the process of surgery and treatment. He treated patients like his family. He even showed up before the surgery to meet me and my boyfriend at the waiting room to comfort us that everything would be fine. I have never seen any doctor with so much compassion to patients. I referred him to my friend, and she felt the same way as I did....a compassionate doctor and the… best in his field. We didn't even mind driving a far distance to come to his office for treatment. I live in Orange County, and my friend is living in Palm Springs. I also knew some people who were coming from Barstow just to see him. Dr. Heaps is an amazing doctor, and there are no words for me to express how grateful I am to have him as my doctor. I feel so sad to hear the news, and I pray this news is untrue. I wish that this difficult time soon comes to an end for Dr. Heaps.

I am so saddened by what the media is doing to Dr. Heaps. He was my doctor for almost 9 yrs and I came to him at a crisis in my life. He was wonderful and caring and made me feel at ease. He is extremely professional and I had complete confidence in his experience and knowledge. He has been convicted without his day in court. I have read the accusations and that is his job to do a complete gynecological exam. Thank goodness we had a great doctor like him. What a loss for all the women who had finally found a great doctor they could have confidence in. Not easy to replace. I know when all the facts come out he will be found innocent of all these unfounded charges. I referred him to several people and everyone felt the same way as I did....one of the best in his field.
