This doctor has been prescribing my wife Phentermine for weight loss when she does not qualify to take it due to the fact that she does not fall into the BMI range required. He does not care about the adverse side effects of this drug will have on patients, especially ones that are not overweight. My wife had complained to the clinic about have severe reactions to the drug, and asked that they not prescribe it to her again. Yet she found that she was not losing weight as quickly any more and simply had to ask for a new prescription without any inquiry from the doctor about the previous complaints regarding the side effects she had experienced. I only now found out she is back on these now for a couple of months and the side effects are far worse. It is unfathomable that he takes advantage of vulnerable people with low self esteem to push pills to put a dime in his pocket with no concern for their safety! He has not ordered any monitoring of my wife's heart for any issues, and… she complained about having heart palpitations. Further she also complained about dizziness, severe headaches, hives and mood swings, very common side effects. Further, she is also having suicidal thoughts. All of which was orally communicated to the weight loss staff for which this doctor is prescribing this drug. Steer clear of this pusher, he has no interest in the well being of his patients, but is solely interested in selling pills. In fact, this weight loss clinic provided instructions regarding how my wife can continue to get this drug now that she no longer qualifies for it medically. Needless to say, I am lodging a complaint with the medical board regarding this unethical behavior and will hold this doctor accountable should anything happen to my wife. I thought I'd share this with the public here in the hope that any other prospective patient can ask appropriate questions before entrusting this person with your health.
