I thought hekman was a decent dr''? no'' just like the rest that send people out into the streets to self medicate with heroin ' because they simply don't care''''

Was asked by the Cleveland Clinic to move to Dr Hekman as my PCP. First visit was ok clinically, but when trying to schedule important follow-up visits due to medication changes it is completely impossible to get an appointment without waiting 3-4 months despite trying multiple times. He’s taken on far too many patients and is more interested in his career than patient care.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. James Hekman, MD. I found him to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very thorough. He has a great bedside manner and a sense of humor. I was very pleased and comfortable with my visit with him and believe I have selected the right primary physician for myself.

Excellent physician . Listens , cares , follows up . Understanding and helpful in all manners. I can't say enough good things about him, wish it was easier to make appointments.

I can never get an appointment, when I did last year it was cancelled several times even though I made it 6 months in advance. I have now seen three different doctors just to get a physical

Dr, James Hekman is a rare physician who makes you feel genuinely cared for. His manner is caring and his followthrough is rare in large medical insitutions, His thoughtful oversight saved my life. My medical care has never been satisfactory since he left Kaiser Permenente, It says a lot for Cleveland Clinic to have such hired such an outstanding Doctor.

Dr. Hekman takes care of my parents and he has been so wonderful to them. He is a good listener and has really improved their health tremendously. I'm so happy we found him.
