Dr. James Francis Heming, DO

Dr. Hemming did a scope on my knee and took out too much meniscus. He said, “I was afraid of that! You’re going to need a knee replacement.” I ended up going to another doctor after having post surgery issues who said he missed seeing an infection in my knee. I had to be placed on 6 weeks of antibiotics to fight it. I would not recommend Dr. Hemming.

Dr. Heming was very kind to me in all aspects! From the diagnosis to having surgery, he did above and beyond in the care given to me. He was up front of all the possibilities of the healing process and made sure I was comfortable when making the decision of having the work done on my shoulder and therapy to follow for a complete recovery. His staff is very efficient and helpful as well!

It was painless, it worked and my shoulder has not been painful since. Dr Heming is a stellar physician.

I recommend Dr. Heming very highly. He replaced both of my knees within 7 months and they are working just fine, with minimal, if any, pain.even the scars are perfect! The experience at Genesys was amazing and I was so well prepared for both surgeries, there was no stress involved. 5?s

Dr. Heming did both of my knee surgeries at a young age. He was very kind, respectful and honest about my treatment options. He never made me feel pressured to get surgery and always made sure I was fully informed. He seemed to have a genuine concern for me and my health both short term and long term. I would recommend him to anyone.

I definitely would choose Dr. Heming. Even though often have to wait for appointment because he is so busy I am still happy with the treatment.

I was refered to Dr. Heming for torn miniscus in my right knee.The surgery was scheduled in a month.He was very detailed explaining my injury. The surgery went well,and I am feeling great.I am refering everyone to him, I cannot understand some of the other reviews.I guess there are some people you just can't please.

I agree with one of the comments that Heming thinks he is a celebrity. I was in an accident out of town and the surgeon who operated on me transferred my case to Heming for follow up (closer to home). Every time I went for an office visit I saw someone different, but never saw Heming. He put me back to work and never told me. I didn't find out until 2 weeks later when I called to see why I didn't get my disability benefits.

Excellent attitude and very understanding and showed great intrest in doing the right thing. I had Birmingham hip resurfaceing at the age of 40 that was next to perfect and was back to work six weeks after the surgery. Would definetly recomend the birmingham and Dr. Hemming.

I have no doubts in Dr. Heming's medical skill. He does however have a habit of passing patients off to interns if your problem isn't exciting enough for his participation.
