Dr. James Patrick Hummel, MD

Dr. James Hummel specializes in cardiovascular disease, bringing three decades of experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Hummel provides care in both English and Spanish to better serve his diverse patient community.

Dr. Hummel practices at University of Wisconsin Health University Hospital and sees patients across multiple locations throughout Connecticut, including New Haven, Guilford, Bridgeport, New London, and Greenwich. He treats patients with heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation and supraventricular tachycardia. His diagnostic expertise includes cardiac MRI scans and comprehensive blood work to help identify and monitor cardiovascular conditions.
