Dr. Hunter grew up in Statesville, NC. He received a B.S. in Dentistry and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he established his practice in Kannapolis in 1975. Dr. Hunter and his wife, Patti, have two daughters. Jamie is a chemical engineer with DuPont in Louisiana, and Robin is a media specialist with the Cabarrus County school system. Dr. Hunter and Patti are active in the community and church including several international church building teams.
Practice Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide gentle, caring, quality dental treatment in a preventive, patient-orientated environment. The practice continues to strive for excellence by employing competent staff, reviewing, and improving methods for treatment, and keeping current by attending continuing education courses. Patients are encouraged to have complete examinations including radiographs and to …participate in our continuing care program.
We try to provide a safe and pleasant work environment for all employees. We continually work to comply with all Federal and State OSHA, Infection Control, and Radiation Safety recommendations and guidelines.
