Dr. James Incalcaterra

I am 56 years old and I have never seen a doctor as professional and knowledgeable as Dr Incalcatera. I highly recommend him. The medical staff that works with him also get 5 Stars

I highly recommend Dr. Incalcaterra as a family doctor for persons of any age. He has been my family physician since 1983. We moved to ClearLake in 1980 from VA. I saw several doctors in the first 3 years...and then I found "Dr. I"... and knew I need look no further. He is the kind of doctor you seldom find anymore. He does not make you feel as though you are being rushed out to get to another patient, but rather gives you time to answer any questions you may have. I find myself extremely fortunate to have found him!

Dr. Incalcaterra is an amazing doctor. He takes the time to listen to you and explain your options. He treats you with respect. He cares for his patients His office staff is helpful and curtious. The appointment is on schedule, also.

This use to be my favorite doctor. He was amazing but in the last couple of years he has started to slip as well as the people working for him It is difficult to get a hold of anyone and when you finally get an appointment you have a 2 hour wait!!! It is so cold in his office and waiting that long makes every part of my body hurt and then he finally sees you and all the things that he should be concerned about are relegated to another time while he deals with only one minor thing. I finally have had enough and I found a new Doctor.

This doctor has been advising conditions of my family for over 15 years and I feel very comfortable and lucky in saying he is one; if not the best doctor in the Primary Care Physician field in the Clear Lake Texas area. Because of his very satisfied client base, It is hard to schedule a time to see him, but well worth the wait. As an adult male (In my 30's) , I can bring him any issue and he can advise me the proper procedure to mitigate / eliminate / minimize the issue. He has an outstanding patient / doctor dialogue, will sit with you and discuss any medical conditions no matter how long or convoluted, and makes you feel like you are the only patient on his calendar for the day. He also has excellent referrals for every possible ailment In the industry.

If they want new patients they certainly don't act like it.

I've had many doctors in my 75 years of life and of all of those doctors doctor James incalcaterra is my third best doctor. I had one in Kansas, one in Florida and one in Texas.

Dr. Incalcaterra is the best doctor I've ever been to. He spends time talking with you, explaining diagnosis, treatment and meds. He answers your questions and never makes you feel like he is in a hurry to end the session.

After 3 screw ups I dont feel comfortable trusting him. He is a happy, outgoing, friendly person and spends whatever amount of time needed with his patients. That part I love! But first he wrote me a prescription for Aleve after I had spent 10 minutes telling him I couldn't take Aleve. Months later at another visit, he gave me a prescription for Meloxicam knowing that I have taken Lisinopril for years and the two cannot be taken together. But this week was the worst. In this case it was his assistant who screwed up not him. But she is still part of the staff. I was sent a paper in the mail telling me I needed to get the listed blood tests done. It was written to look like they were tests to see if my current meds were causing any side effects. Only after the results came back did I find out they were actually blood sugar and cholesterol tests for which I should have fasted. I didn't because I didn't know what kind of tests they were and nothing on the paper told me to fast.… So now I have inaccurate test results because I didn't fast. And the insurance company won't pay for a new test. So I have no way of knowing what my blood sugar and cholesterol levels really are because an assistant screwed up. I'm moving on.

You want to feel like your the only one in the office when you visit a doctor. Dr. Incalcaterra makes you feel this way. Great experience great doctor.
