I called this place a week ago. Asked if they accept my insurance. They said yes. Asked if they are accepting new patients. They said yes. My appointment was today at 1:30 pm. I was told to be there at 1pm. As I was grabbing my keys my cell phone rang. They told me they do not accept my insurance. I told them they are in network. Then the lady said oh well we aren't accepting new patients with your insurance. This was an appt to follow up on high blood pressure that sent me to the ER. High blood pressure is new. This was important. I guess I should be glad they called to let me know how incompetent they actually are.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this Doctors office to anyone!! The office manager was horribly mean and rude to me, I can honestly say I have never in my life had anyone treat me with such ugliness ever!!! I have never had an actual "in person" appointment with any doctor, only with nurse practitioners. I had one telehealth appointment with Dr Irvine but they oversee the nurse practitioners and they are the ones that see the majority of the patients in their office. I had a well woman visit with a nurse practitioner that was very painful, when I asked her what she was doing that was causing such pain she said " I am having a really hard time finding your cervix" ...I said I had a full hysterectomy, I just went through all that with your nurse and it should be in my file. I also went in one time with extremely severe stomach cramping and problems that had been going on for days in which I could not even stand up, the nurse practitioner examined me and told me she didn't know… what was wrong with me, she said "maybe it is a gallbladder problem or maybe it is your appendix I don't know what the problem is you will need a referral"...and left me with that... nothing to help me, sent me home with the promise of a referral I never got despite my continued calls to get it. They want to do all the lab work in house and that was also one of the most painful experiences to date I have ever had, when she drew my blood she dug the needle around so bad in my arm and it was pinching and taking so long I thought I was going to pass out, it also left the worst bruise I have ever had from a blood draw. I have only received a couple actual referrals I could use in the couple years I have been with them ..the other ones they actually sent me were either out of network, not the right specialist ( an ENT that didn't see anyone for ear problems) or I just never got one even after many many phone calls as follow-up) this office requires you to make an appointment and pay them to receive a referral. There have been very few things they actually would help me with themselves mostly small issues, light seasonal allergies, colds etc, everything else they would use a referral ... I unfortunately was not receiving....therefore I have not been able to resolve several health issues. I have dealt with this office only because of my very limited options due to my healthcare plan. After my most recent experience where they office manager yelled at me and demanded money for a missed appointment I had no record of, they provided me no backup proof of sending any confirmation of an appointment or confirmation of me confirming it. The office manager told me they did not have to do anything because when I consented to be their patient I had to pay period. I paid the $50 for missing the appointment and will never go back. I felt I really needed to share my terrible experiences with this very unprofessional office and the lack of care I received.

Dear Mansfield Medical Clinic, I have been a patient of yours for years and every time I or any member of my family leave your office and check out, we are asked to pay amounts that we do not owe. We advise you of the reason why and you argue, and yet we pay the amounts that we say are due and you never send us a bill for anything additional. I was in your office again Monday and you again tried to collect the full amount of an office visit and I advised we had met our family deductible and that we where on a 80/20 split. Your girl up front verified this and then collected the 20%. Today my Daughter came in and you AGAIN tried to collect 100%. When I spoke to the Office Manger over the phone and advised her that we had met the family deductible and that we are at 80/20 she advised me that Yes we had met the family deductible, but not the individual. When I advised her that she had no idea how to very insurance coverage I was told to feel free to find another Doctor and hung up on.… CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. I will be finding out what agency or agencies would over see your attempt to collect Money that is not due. I have filled a complaint with CIGNA about your Ignorance and they also verified You obviously do not know how to verify Insurance Coverage as ALL PERSONS ON MY POLICY ARE AT 80/20……. P.s. I have a family of 6 and I see you 4x a year myself for my Medical Condition and you will never see that return business again so way to MANAGE THE OFFICE! Also after sending the Dr. an email through their online patient system, their response was to LOCK ME OUT OF THAT SYSTEM AND MY RECORDS.

The staff and doctors are wonderful ! They always take rime to take care of me and my family. Highly recommend.

Our mother became a new patient and saw this doctor several times during 2019. In our opinion, service was a little lacking so we promptly stopped. Never complained, paid our bill and simply stopped going. No reason to continue. Here is what developed six months later. We can only wonder if they started to struggle financially as they now seem to be in the practice of artificially adding patient appointments to the books and then subsequently charging a 'no show' fee. These appointments are not disclosed until they call and attempt to collect. When questioned about things, all one receives is an unprofessional and defensive business manager who simply refuses to provide an explanation of what transpired or any documentation of the purported appointments, much less a written cancellation policy. We never raised our voices or reacted to the manager's near screaming and condescending tone. Could not get a word in edgewise. No joke. Suddenly there are verbalized threats of "pay up or face… a collection agency". Wow. All we were doing was attempting to have a rational conversation to get to bottom of things. Then, you are abruptly hung up on. We were advised there is no one else to speak with so we suppose third party assistance is the only solution. A shame, because this could probably be resolved amicably if one were allowed to speak to the business owners themselves. We wonder if they realize what certain members of their staff are engaged in. We are attempting to contact the doctors themselves thru our attorney. Maybe they can settle this without all the drama of an unnecessary lawsuit. Doctor Irvine, if you are reading this will you please contact us for peaceful resolution? Your business manager knows who we are, and we welcome your intervention. Has anyone else experienced a similar practice from within this business?

Have been patient some years of n on. Dont tell him what you think you need. Next thing he say he's calling in medication, n it dont show up.

I would highly recommend this place, wow they are all so helpful and really seem like they care about me as a patient

I have been coming to this office for some time, always get treated well and the doctors as well as the PA's are awesome.

Call the office because I haven’t found a doctor yet and I was sick and they let me in the same day the nurse there in Duste yourself as Christy was very very helpful the staff upfront was very helpful and we seeing the nurse practitioner and she was wonderful we were in and out in less than 30 minutes

I was a new patient and was let in the next day. Really love the nursing staff as they were so friendly. The doctor was great , the place is very well maintained and the staff was so nice. My family will switch to them
