I am supposed to have a colonoscopy annually, but after 2 years had a very difficult time getting an appointment. I FINALLY got one after trying constantly and then they CANCELED!!! I received almost daily calls from the time I booked my appointment to be sure I had a driver, had paid for my prep and was prepared. I did everything requested then received a call "the doctor would be unavailable." His nurse was very rude. I asked to speak to the Officer Manager who informed me that the office and scheduling are 2 different departments with separate managers? Getting a Colonoscopy takes planning! I had to take off work, make staff accommodations, ask someone else to rearrange their schedule to drive me and pick me up, which takes time and effort to be told, "the doctor is now unavailable on that day!!" I am shocked that there is no communication between the practice office (a huge practice) the doctor's office and scheduling!! I scheduled MONTHS ago and this is completely irresponsible!!

He helped me heal a gastric ulcer. I definitely recommend him for your gastro needs.

My husband went in for a colonoscopy and was charged under diagnostic he goes every 5 years and no problems but the office bills it under diagnostic which you have to pay more out of your pocket removing 1 or 2 polyps comes with age they were benign and I thought you do this is a preventive told by is nurse Holly it's only when they don't find a polyp I did a lot of research and it's common with age if there were more polyps to remove or you are having trouble then I can see diagnostic

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Jackson and his staff. This is my second Colonoscopy with him five years apart and he and his staff have always remained professional and reassuring. They explained everything in advance and the entire procedure was flawless. After the procedure, Dr. Jackson explained the results in detail. The only bad thing about the entire procedure was the prep the night before. If there was some way to eliminate that, everything would have been great but unfortunately what has to be has to be ;)

Dr. Jackson and staff were proficient, professional & caring. This made my day of the procedure go smoothly and comfortable. The anesthesiologist and Dr. Jackson spoke prior to the procedure with great tact and care. Once it was over Dr. Jackson reviewed his findings diligently. With that assurance knew not only how important it is to have colonoscopy screenings but that I was in great hands. ~NJMund

Dr Jackson met with me to review a pending procedure and did a great job explaining why it was better to wait for a few months before moving forward. His explanation removed any anxiety that I had before the visit. Thank you Dr. Jackson

I am sure I am like many, I was not looking forward to teh colonoscopy and have delayed it not knowing what to expect. First of all Dr. Jackson is amazing he puts you at easy, very friendly and takes his time. I almost felt like his only patient I was a nervous wreck! right when I walked in the nurses were so friendly they knew I was nervous, within 20 minutes I was ready for the procedure. I woke up 20 minutes later and honestly I felt like I had an amazing nap, you couldn't tell anything was done! I had a glass of water and I left within 30 minutes and ran errands and worked, I felt like nothing was ever done. if I knew this I wouldn't have put it off for so long. I was more worried about the procedure but people say the prep is bad? I kind liked it, I fasted for 2 days 1 extra to make it easier, a great tip by the way! for me I liked it because I lost 3 lbs so for me the entire experience was nothing, I cannot believe how worried I was. Please do no delay this procedure, it… is so important and I am sincere when I say it was nothing! Thank you Dr. Jackson and the nurses and anesthesiologist, you were all wonderful, understanding, caring and professional.

Dr. Jackson takes the time to listen to me and cares about my health. Excellent physician and the office staff is awesome!

The best Doctor in his field. Explained everything to a T. Highly recommended.

I have to say that I usually do not look forward to doctors appointments but Dr. James Jackson is an exception. He is a very good listener and seems very competent as well. He always makes me feel like I am in good hands, just like the Allstate advertisement. I would recommend him to anyone.
