Dr. James Robinson Jacobs, MD

As far as a man, Dr. Jacobs is fine. As far as a Dr., I yet to have him diagnose me with anything. I've gone to him with minor ailments but was always told that I needed to see a specialist due to my high blood pressure, pain, etc. He refused to give me pain meds but quick to offer them to everyone else. I gave no reasons for him to refuse me the care that I needed at the time or at least until I could get to the Dr that he was referring me to. I will give him credit as far as showing me a great deal of concern for my health but acted like it was totally out of his field of expertise. To date, I have not been diagnosed by him or any other dr with any kind of life threatening disease. Therefore, he could have treated my high blood pressure without sending me elsewhere. When you have a full time job, children and a busy life, it's hard to just take time to do that. The blood pressure meds that he prescribed, did work, so why refer elsewhere. The severe pain I still have in my legs,… continue to go untreated. I guess I'll have to find another PCP. If anyone plans to use him, get ready for sarcasm. He's very nice and caring but sarcastic and short tempered.

They will over charge you and then you still want get your prescription.. Even when all you do is see the doc and talk to him they will charge more then if you had a full checkup.

Dr. Jacobs is quick to refer HIS patients to other doctors when he does not want to "deal" with them. He also has not diganosed illnesses correctly, further complicating the recovery of the patient.
