Dr. James Alan Johnson

James Johnson, DDS
Dr. Johnson was born in Texas City, TX. He earned his Undergraduate Degree from Texas A&M University, and later earned his DDS degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Dental School in 1983. Upon graduating, Dr. Johnson has been very thorough with his continuing education. He consistently works hand in hand with an oral surgeon and correlates his continuing education with him to stay up to date with treatments like dental implants. He has also developed a high level of expertise in using the laser equipment in our office. He has been asked by the University of Texas Dental School in Houston to answer questions about the kind of equipment utilized in our office.
Dr. Johnson and his wife were married in 1985. They have a daughter who is grown and married. In his spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys singing and music. He plays the trombone and he loves to paint.
Because of his overall personality, Dr. Johnson keeps the office very comfortable, very personal and …very compassionate. He often spends time just sitting and listening to patients. We know that some offices seem to treat patients like numbers, but Dr. Johnson doesn’t have the personality to manage that kind of practice. He enjoys developing relationships with his patients and helping them feel comfortable in our office.
