Dr. James Edward Johnson, DO

I am a young man, and he got stuck on the young part. Never listened to me, treated me like an animal. I gave Dr. Johnson many chances to make it right and figure out my pain. Come to find out I have a growth abnormality from birth and he overlooked it time and time again. I am finally on the path to fix my body and hopefully not suffer anymore in pain... But Dr. James Johnson did NOTHING but belittle me and make my journey harder. Thanks for nothing Dr. Johnson, hope you enjoyed the money you made off me while I suffered and cried everyday.

My 22 year old daughter had suffered with low back pain for quite some time. After numerous doctor appointments with our family doctor, she finally received a referral to Dr. Johnson. From the minute Dr. Johnson walked in the door, we knew we had a doctor who cared. He did not minimalize her pain and rather than making her jump through hoops wasting more time in pain, he said, " You need surgery." He called the neurosurgeon and requested an appointment. He himself then called my daughter to tell her that the surgeon's office would call her the next morning. This was late on a Thursday afternoon and by the following Wednesday my daughter had surgery to fix her problem and is now pain free! Dr. Johnson and Dr. Neil (surgeon) are heroes in our opinion. My daughter said they gave her life back to her.

This is a one of kind doctor. He truly cares, he is smart, he is funny, he puts you at ease, he goes way above and beyond what you see or expect these days. We highly recommend Dr. JAMES Johnson. I wish I had stronger words to tell you how amazing he and his entire staff are!

Dr. Johnson wrote a review and (I believe it was in the K-Tracs system and or chart) because one of his patient overtook their medicine. Instead of working with the patient and changing the medication he dismissed this patient. Then he wrote a scathing report in the chart and I believe the K-Tracs system. The patient wasn't been able to get another Dr. to help for the last couple of years. He in effect blackballed the patient from any medical help - EVER. This individual has had to live in pain with no medical attention. We have been told by Dr's that they won't take the patientâ??s case because of what Dr Johnson wrote. Dr. Johnson was the one prescribing what was taken so it was a â??cover his buttâ?? kind of deal. The patient has tried to commit suicide a number of times because of the excruciating pain and lack of any help from the medical community. Dr. Johnson will write what he wants in his reports and/or the K-Track system. The results can be so damaging to the point of… leaving ones life with no medical help either from Pain Management or from any specialty Dr. These comments have been validated by other Drâ??s and I have read the Drâ??s comments to what Dr. Johnson said in the charts. We recently found a good Dr. that briefly took the case but without warning sent a letter saying that he was removing his services. We wondered if he reviewed Dr. Johnsonâ??s comments. We have thought many times what the best course of action is but are just trying to somehow continue living. This is a true story.

Very thorough, answers questions and doesn't put you to the back. Compassionate and very knowledgeable.

My experiences with Dr. James Johnson and his staff have been outstanding. He takes the time to explain pain relief options relating to my diagnosis, and has caught a condition, unrelated to the pain issue, that could have been potentially life threatening. What I have also discovered about Dr. Johnson is that he doesn't just forget about his patients once they leave his door, he actually followed up, by telephone, on my condition assuring I had received proper care. I thank him and will be forever grateful.

Dr. Johnson is a wonderful, caring man who saw me through a rough time in my life. It's so hard to find doctors like him these days. THANK YOU!!

I waited forever it seemed in the waiting room & again in the room. Also, he insisted I take narcotics even though I said I didn't want to & then rescheduled a pain appt for several days later so I had to go without a procedure that greatly relieves my pain over the mother's day weekend so I have to be in a car for 7 hrs to go see my son & either be in horrible pain during the ride or drugged up so I'm not able to enjoy my visit with him. My husband had 2 reschedule work so I could get this treatment & now will have to reschedule again! I'm very upset!
