Thorough, listens, didn't rush, and really cares about his patients

I saw him at Northern after being admitted for chest pains. He did my stress test and was VERY friendly and handle my care very professional had zero complaints

My husband and I both see Dr. Kay and have been for several years. He listens, offers helpful advice and takes the more conservative approach managing and monitoring our individual conditions. He demonstrates respect of us and true compassion and not as just one of many patients passing through his office. We appreciate all of those qualities. A really good doctor does more than order tests and prescribe medications and procedures, though he does so when he feels it is truly necessary. A great doctor who builds great patient-doctor relationships.

James David Kay is a very good doctor who is loyal to his job and respects his patients. He is a very likeable person and great cardiologist. He is also a very good dad, even a few states away.
