Dr. James Cooper Keane, MD

Mohs surgery in 2019 for quarter-size cancer spot. Took 26 stitches to close deep wound. Was not prescribed antibiotics for preventing infection which I got within month. Never was seen for follow-up visit. After 3 years, nerve damage is still intense in spite of being on Nuerotin pain rx. He's too young to claim to have done over 1,000 Mohs surgeries. Cannot recommend him.

Dr. Keane was wonderful and Brianna put in the neatest stitches I have ever seen!

I was so nervous going in to have skin cancer removed from my nose. It was wonderful getting it all done quickly and efficiently. My stitches come out Thursday and I couldn't be more pleased. The scar will barely be visible after it heals up. I totally have faith in going back if I ever needed him again.

I arrived at the office on time and waited about 10 minutes before going into an operating room. Excellent service, great care, very well coordinated, pleasant wait while they viewed the slides, very good pain management, and given complete care and treatment of the treated area. I have only the tiniest of a scar 38 days later. Definitely would make a return trip the next go round. The amount they quoted me was all they charged myself and Medicare. I really did enjoy my trip to Little Rock and many thanks to the staff and surgeons at the clinic. In my books Dr. Keane is tops!

Dr. Keane is one of a kind doctor. He is very caring and has so much compassion for his patients. He takes whatever time is necessary to insure the patient understands the procedure that he will perform on the patient

Dr. Keane treated me today for a lesion on my scalp. He and his staff did an excellent job. They were friendly and very professional. Dr. Keane also called me at home this evening to check on me. I can highly recommend this office!

Worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. Disrespectful, called me "pretty lady" several times rather than learn my name. Did a huge excision on my scalp to save time, rather than MOHS surgery that I was there for. When I questioned him about the huge graft he was doing he told me I needed a more positive attitude and that he had done a graft on a sixteen year old who went to the sun beds. I think he saw an old woman (70) and why bother with true MOHS.This was my third MOHS surgery. First time with Dr. Keane because he was closer to my home. Both my father and brother were surgeons. They would never treat a patient the way he treated me. I am now going to have to have scar revision after the horrible job he did on my SMALL basal cell.

I had a scary procedure performed by Dr. Keanu and his associate (Doc the Master Embroidery Guy) and the fine ladies who assist them. The entire atmosphere and attitudes of everyone encountered was reassuring, kind-hearted and smoothly efficient. Even the nice gentleman on the front desk was a warmhearted touch for a nervous old lady (me). I would recommend this team to anyone who may be facing a difficult diagnosis and needs the best outfit to do the work.
