I agree with the other poster about this doctor and his terrible billing. I also went to the ER at Cedars Sinai at Marina del Rey. They outsource pathology to Dr. Keefe. Then Dr. Keefe bills patients. No insurance was processed in his bill and there is no way to contact him, so I'm stuck trying to figure out a bill that's over $500 and should be fully covered by my insurance. He's even an in-network doctor. Terrible! As the other reviewer said, "Billing dept won't answer the phone. Best to avoid Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey since Cedars uses him without you knowing it. You just later get the hassle of an unpayable bill with no response from his office." Totally agree.

Dr James F. Keefe MD, Inc. submits unreadable bills to insurance companies so the insurance companies will not pay the invoice even though he is a preferred provider. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Billing dept won't answer the phone. Best to avoid Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey since Cedars uses him without you knowing it. Dr. Jim Keefe is the kindest, most compassionate physician on Earth. Thoroughly dedicated and caring.
