Dr. James Speed

It's no surprise why this physician was on the patient's choice and most compassionate doctor's list. Recommend without reservation!

I come from out of town to see Dr. Speed. Dr. Speed's care for the wellness of his patients sets him apart as the most compassionate provider I have been with. He is quick to get back to his patients in normal and extenuating circumstances. Dr. Speed is extensively knowledgeable, while not only caring for his patients medical concerns but overall wellness and life goals. He is the above and beyond provider and worth driving for.

I have a very difficult health problem. I've seen 20 doctors and they never saw the puzzle pieces that is my brain. Doctor Speed is absolutely the best doctor I've ever seen. He is helping me when no one else could.

He seems good but his staff can't seem to follow up with patients calls and scheduling test. Poor staff coordination. My wife's 5th endro doc in 5 years. Don't want to label him Dr Slow...it's his staff.

I am not a person that looks sick. So he diagnosed me with potentially having Mono. I went in for having multiple nodules on my thyroid with one being solid. He insisted I had nothing to do with my thyroid. I had to be an infection. He said this is commen to have nodules on your thyroid. I am going to someone else that doesn't categorizes these symptoms to the easiest issue to get you in an out. I will go to someone who will assess my issues, lab and ultra sound and go further if needed.

This doctor, this man - is of the highest quality in all areas. We feel fortunate to be under his care.

Dr. Speed is the best. He never rushes you and is so sweet and knowledgeable. He takes suggestions and knows that YOU know your body best. Couldn't recommend him more highly. Hard to get an appointment as earlier stated, but well worth the wait.

Great doctor and practice...only complaint:too long to wait for an appointment. VERY busy office..BECAUSE they are so good! Would not consider going to someone else unless Dr Speed changes his practice location and I can't get to him! His nurse, Sharon, is equally good..I never feel rushed.They actually listen and respond..love them

Dr. Speed is an excellent doctor; he seems to really care for and about his patients. He is kind, professional, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Even a quick appointment never seems rushed and you leave feeling like you are in good hands.

I have been an RN for over 20 yrs and have therefore worked with many physicians. Dr Speed is by far one of my top 2 most loved physicians. He is brilliant, has wonderful bedside manner, respects and even seems to enjoy his patients, and is incredibly supportive in his patients approach to their disease. This is the key point. He insists a patient own their own disease. He is there to assist and guide them, it is up to them to make the changes he suggests, and if they make sense he is quick to incorporate any thoughts the patient may have into the plan . He is a marvelous open minded and caring man and I am so blessed to have stumbled upon him as a physician.
