Dr. James Martin Kohlenberg, MD

I have never come across a doctor as unprofessional, rude and uninterested in a patients health then Dr. James M Kohlenburg. I had the misfortune of meeting this Dr during a first time appointment at his office to get a second opinion on the health issues I am having. He seemed very aggravated as soon as he walked into the room. Wile trying to explain my condition to him I was cut off by him, he was not interested in looking at or talking about my past diagnoses and was quick to jump to conclusions before I was finished talking and explaining what was wrong with me! He did a quick exam and ordered a chest X-ray for some reason and then he left the room, two minutes later I was walked into the X-ray room by a medical assistant and before she was able to take an X-ray the Dr comes into the X-ray room and he did not hint that he was not going to give me a second opinion he strait up said it. “There is nothing I can do for you so why don’t you opted out and leave”. He did not even look… at my past diagnosis, he did not run one test so how did he know he could not help, the whole visit was very bizarre. Clearly he was busy in his office so my guess on his worked up behavior was he was to busy to deal with anything more then a cold or a stubbed toe, maybe he was having a bad day but there is no excuse for this kinda behavior towards patients. I grabbed my stuff and just walked out. No need seeing a doctor who has no interest in helping me and who was rude. I have seen a lot of doctors over the years and his behavior was very out of the norm. He was a waste of time, and highly unprofessional. I recommend passing on this guy if your looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Kohlenberg is great. He’s straight to the point and gets you in and out of the office quickly. Highly recommend

I went to this doctor complaining of chest pains only to find out later from another doctor that I had mesothelioma.

With all that knowledge I wondered where it went to. As i walked into the room it must have gone out the window.Very rude answers to my questions. Im glad I went but will not be back. The help seemed like they didnt know what or how to do what was next. and not very welcome to have you there.

He may be educated but he sure lacks kindness and compassion. Told me "so what?" That my mom (a psychiatric patient) bawled her eyes out for two days thinking she had a serious heart disease (mistake from a previous Doctor). Extremely insensitive man.

Dr. Kohlenberg is kind, compassionate, professional and is a good listener. He asks poignant questions to pinpoint the root of the issue. After Dr. Maltzer was no longer at this clinic, Dr. Kohlenberg became my PCP and provided a very easy transition. Thank you for being such a great physician!

Dr Kohlenberg and his staff are the rudest uncaring people I have ever met... Unfriendly and the two overweight assistants are cold and nasty.. He seems to be bothered by my questions and always seems to be in a hurry..There are plenty of other doctors to choose from that I can give my money to....

He is always up to date on the latest medical information. His diagnoses are on target. He will spend time to answer questions. He is very thorough in his examinations and testing. Great doctor.

He is the best most wonderful kind and caring Doctor I have ever had the pleasure to know. He takes very good care of me. I have been going to him for many years. I am 65 years old
